I think friends are different. You know them personally, so there won't be any surprises when you meet up with them. But to go to such expense is a different story .
My point being , that mrs C is not willing to Skype in her own environment, because of an invasion of privacy, but would be willing to meet that person on the trust of a dating profile.
I think you'll find that it was the US who backed the Hussain regime initially & Russia backed Iran. Don't be a spin doctor to try and portray the USA as peacekeepers , when it's apparent , they are the biggest aggressors barring non.
It's not all about looks . The facial expressions, the eyes that never lie, the smile . You can get more information from those characteristics than you can from mailing , weeks & months on end .
