A good ego is a healthy thing to have. And as much as it is despised it is always later admired in secret even by the SUBMISSIVE man (who wishes he could be so confident in himself, THINK so highly of himself instead of base his self-worth on the poor and biased estimations of himself by OTHERS);
the egoistic man will be secretly admired by the man who lives contrary to his instincts BECAUSE HE HAS BEEN TOLD TO; brain-washed by the morality of resentment (that is to say, then, the traditional morality of the ‘individuality-disarmed’ pack-hounds who club together in their individual weakness to form a combined strength to best the lone wolf since if they were to stand alone they would have no individual confidence AGAINST SUCH A ONE.
Indeed the people I have admired most have been the most egocentric people alive and who have ever lived. All credit to them!
Women hate egoistic males FOR this reason (or find their attitudes/them unattractive); because it is the self-AFFIRMATION of the dominant man: something that controls and cannot be controlled. Something that knows its worth and cannot be told it. Something that estimates and pays no heed to the estimation it is given. Something that by virtue of its disobedience is destined to command! Something exclusively MASUCULINE.
Such men are indeed to be despised . . .
And admired later in secret. For being MAN as apposed to – ‘girly-man.’ The girly-man who does not HAVE the confidence to stand next to a woman who has the confidence to stand next to such an ‘egoist’ so-called. The resentful man sold pack-hound lies that the ‘alpha-male’ has poor personal qualities that doom a relationship, and the ‘alpha-female’ has poor qualities and bad character BECAUSE of her beauty and her confidence – HER EGO – in herself: AFFIRMED.
Let men and women of resentment call the ego-oriented and alpha-types unattractive. Hah!
There is nothing more insecure than a man who resents egoistic men (and a women who OPENLY admires ego in a man is almost impossible – however they can later come around to their senses if they indeed had any sense to spare in the first place when they see just how ADMIRED is an egoistic man in the long run by his peers who first resent him).
And what greater tool to ‘psyche out’ your fellow man than strong ego, stern-assertiveness and the accompanying self-confidence it necessitates as a PRECONDITION.
If a woman doesn’t like my ego she is welcome to go and find herself a SUBMISIVE MAN without one - that she can bend like a weak-wooded bow and even weaker-wooded arrow to the will of her feeble aim for him; to her selfish TAMING of ‘the animal man’ as a form of revenge for what HE has done to her by virtue of the dominance of his gender!
NOW MAN MUST CONFORM TO WOMAN! And hence all the CS girly men.
Ah, one glimpses the mind of woman (and when one glimpses her, watch her come running to her rescue with bickering denial and accusation and above all RESENTMENT).
Some men will not submit to such nonsense and the precondition to this is that ego is an imperative part of their conscience and masculinity and competitive spirit and WHO THEY ARE and a woman is not the end goal of a great man’s existence, and one should hope he is not the end goal of hers!!!
I believe such men are, and are to BE, despised.
And then admired later in secret.
On the other ankle, ego becomes detrimental when it boasts of and displays a pride in qualities it does not have and then has to effect a FALSE confidence in.
And so the only thing I DON’T admire, is a FALTERING ego.
And there is nothing I love MORE than a woman who despises a man because of his ego. BECAUSE he thinks highly of himself . . .
In fact, when a woman despises a man for his ego, I find it a huge - ego-boost!
I am certainly of the opinion that it is more unhealthy to think ‘less of yourself’ than MORE of yourself. And it is precisely this kind of traditional ‘reversal of true values’ that has always had me scratching the proverbial bean as I have looked condescendingly down at what I am here morally compelled to call my so-called ‘fellow man’.
Ego is imperative to a healthy competitive spirit in all daring spheres! Imperative, then, to a DOMINANT MAN.
Ego is something predominantly male (although not exclusively male).
Men who frown upon egoistic attitudes lack the confidence to BE confident in themselves and SHOW others they are (even women).
And women who frown upon egoistic men require little reflection . . . if any at all.
And what could be more disagreeable to the brain-washed mass of indoctrinated self-despisers than a man who thinks highly of himself?
The ‘moral tradition’ has always been that: OTHERS must tell you your worth. Yet if you have any true worth among THEM and therefore OVER them - as your competitive peers they will do everything and anything they can to TELL you your worth and in doing so undervalue it to bring you down in the eyes of all and indeed to their own level. And how even more RESENTFUL they become when they realize how little you value their opinions or estimation of YOUR worth! How immune you are to their resentment!
Let them indeed look upon you with resentment: here is a man who thinks highly of himself in a world where WE tell YOU your worth and expect you to tell us ours!
WE! WE – who think less of ourselves because there is less of us that can actually think for itself!!! And so by majority consensus we find you DISAGREEABLE! You egocentric, selfish, vastly advantaged despicable person who doesn’t think it is more healthy to think less of himself! And who, above all, isn’t indoctrinated to self-despise! Who isn’t one of we, the virtuously SELF-devaluated! A deflated ego indeed – if one at all!
Wise knave of knaves!. That is a good thing to tell toddlers. If your eye is plucked out, pluck out an eye! If someone causes you to loose a tooth, cause THEM to loose a tooth.
Human, all too human. Tut-tut.
It is good that after they were told to take a tooth for a tooth they became mature enough to understand not to, and instead, to turn the other cheek.
Yes, an amusement park of madness . . . one where the children lost in the mirror-maze are really lost, the haunted house is really haunted, and the horses of the carousel are really impaled upon their poles . . .
Such has the world always appeared to me.
I resolved from an early age that life was a sordid affair, a spoiled experience, and that happiness is not possible in a spoiled experience – and nor should it be - and so I have never strived for happiness, that most HUMAN of all pursuits, and I have decided to spend my entire life reflecting upon it.
