RE: God, fact or fiction -The Sequel.

Go and read the end of the first god-thread; this is the sequel.

I shouldn't even be here; but there's something in me that just cannot abide too much foolishness!

Don't you see the danger of blind belief?

Of the church, that it is not 'a house of sanctity'?

Jesus!

RE: God, fact or fiction -The Sequel.

You're almost as dumb as wandering gnome, and as blind.

But it looks like you can spell better.

Don't worry, you're going fit it just fine here - among 'the good'. The 'meek and mild' and the 'blind-led blinder.'

Idiot.

RE: God, fact or fiction -The Sequel.

I find what you say very damaging - go figure.

RE: God, fact or fiction -The Sequel.

Jesus, I wasn't even going to say anymore on this thread because it was like throwing intellectual gold to beggars, but you, buddy, you are just another fine example of all the rest of them: a deluded fool, blockhead and dullard.

You are the living personification of the folly of blind faith. You all follow blindly, you all back each other up blindly, and then form a big rabble of believers and call your mass vote 'the truth' because you all agree on it but it rests on insufficient grounds if even any grounds at all.

It seems there's a new fool even to rival Wandering Gnome!!!

Haven’t you ever heard the wisdom of your own so-called ‘savoir’ – if the blind lead the blind both shall fall unto the ditch’?

What part of that didn’t you understand – and that goes for all you wandering gnomes!

Because that’s what’s going to happen to you.

Everything you say - is wisdom from the ditch.

A new fool to the god-thread to add to the religious-mob rabble who drink from the poisoned well!

RE: Why do people find it easier to believe a lie rather than believe a truth ?

ha-ha, that's my girl. She is wise, isn't she?

smitten kiss smitten angel

RE: Why do people find it easier to believe a lie rather than believe a truth ?

She has hit the nail on the head, sweetmaria.

Something inexplicable is the explanation of existence: who in this world can therefore call what they believe as the one true explanation behind something utterly inexplicable? And then from that stance, say what everyone else believes is a lie?

You?

RE: why can black people box good and run fast but is no good at tennis horseracing and gymnastics ?

Is this woman not one of the most beautiful on the entire forum?

For me - the most beautiful!!!

RE: why can black people box good and run fast but is no good at tennis horseracing and gymnastics ?

They have had to stuggle harder to survive than the white man.

Even the sun cannot burn their skin like it can a white man's!

Blessed people!!!!!!!

RE: Why do people find it easier to believe a lie rather than believe a truth ?

'Every faith ( dosn´t matter in what) is a own personal abandonment. '

I'm moving to Germany!!!!

The minds there have always known this!

Because they were born into and to believe one of the most horrific versions of 'the truth' in history!

They UNDERSTAND!!!!

RE: Why do people find it easier to believe a lie rather than believe a truth ?

Brilliant!!!!!

And I would expect as much - from a GERMAN mind!

They understand 'on the problem of the truth'

Acknowledge the validity of only that which you yourself confirm!

Brilliant woman!

RE: Why do people find it easier to believe a lie rather than believe a truth ?

Brilliant woman!!!!

RE: Why do people find it easier to believe a lie rather than believe a truth ?

Brilliant woman!!!!

German minds are simply brilliant!!!!

RE: God, fact or fiction -The Sequel.

Charlos, after the religious mob attack the God-thread really is even to those who believe in god and not in religion, not to mention of a blind-faither who said YOU are the one who has the small brain, I'm not even wasting anymore time on these deluded - and wilfully deluded - fools.

Even after all those facts, historical accounts, the blind-faither still says ‘America is Founded On Christian Morality.’

And The gnome includes Darwin in a list with Stephen King.

Maybe they don't know what 'foundation' means, hey Charlos?

Well, Charlos, your wisdom was right all along my man, and you said the wisest thing on the God thread out of everyone:

‘The world wants to be deceived, so let it be deceived.’

You were the only man on the God-thread from whom I had anything to learn.

Now let Wandering Gnome learn the meaning of what I meant by:

'He who laughs longest laughs last.'

And lets both take heed to those wise words of yours!

RE: whats the worst crime the world has ever seen committed ?..and did they get away with it ?

'My Great Great Grandmother was on the trail of tears, my grandmother use to tell me stories told to her by her mother.
I remember having to move schools twice because I was a Half Breed and it caused problems for me and my family in school.
and that was in the late 50's early 60's'

Member of this thread, maybe you can explain to him lost gnome?

About the delusion he has lived under?

I am ahead of you.

RE: God...fact or fiction?

Nobly and graciously put. Whether people refute what you say or not, my dear (all credit to you).

RE: whats the worst crime the world has ever seen committed ?..and did they get away with it ?

Ah, but which is the worst genocide, and therefore the worst crime - wise one?

100 million anyone?

Dude, where's my gnome?

RE: whats the worst crime the world has ever seen committed ?..and did they get away with it ?

Uh . . . what makes me think it was a genocide?

100 million wiped out.

babies tossed into their own father's campfires

stuff like that.

RE: God...fact or fiction?

Or because they can't.

RE: God...fact or fiction?

Because you don't know the seriousness of this great question's implications more even than its answer.

The answer is:

God exists; but it’s more important that WE exist!

The implications are a revaluation of all our values.

But no one but me on this thread seems to be hell-bent on knocking down the walls of dogma - or clever and daring and willing enough to do so.

Better to be meek and mild and wait for the world to be saved . . .

Than try to save it ourselves!

RE: God...fact or fiction?

No, I think you'll find it's just me - my perfect narcissistic ruthless truth-seeking self.

Anyway, rude is another word for noble.

RE: What are the 2 greatest achievements of the human race?

This woman is like the female Arthur Schopenhauer!!!!

a crotchety old man-hating pessimist

I hate her so much I'm starting to like her - and that's TRUE admiration!

RE: God...fact or fiction?

Better to trust your head.professor

RE: What are the 2 greatest achievements of the human race?

Thanks drivenbysound!

The use of soap as a basic criterion of civilization also comes from taking rocks out of rivers and using them as abrasive agents to wash our hands while we lived in a more primitive form/state, also sand was used as an agent to wash hands together with a rock that fit nicely into our hand.

The fact that we have mirrors above our sinks upon whose sides a bar of soap resides, comes from the reflection of our face in the river as we plucked the rock out from under the surface and used it as an abrasive to wash our hands from ingrained filth or to splash water up into our face.

Every thing that exists in the world that man has made that pertains directly to his primal needs he has transposed out of nature: like a mirror above a sink with the source of water below it.

And this insight is from me to you all because, frankly, I am a genius and will one day be acknowledged as such, and I'm going to be a Doctor soon. And it was so easy!

I SEE things, wandering gnome!!!!

'The envy of personal qualities is the most relentless' – Arthur Schopenhauer

RE: What are the 2 greatest achievements of the human race?

But have you ever asked yourself why you want to follow and torment me?

My quote on mankind’s greatest achievement:

'Man's greatest achievement was the discovery that he could generate an external source of warmth and illumination by way of friction which in its manifestation he called 'fire'.

Without it we would be dead.

His greatest achievements are his original survival tools which are the beginning and the basis of civilisation and the first, foremost and most important.'

And now this will tell you why:

'The envy of personal qualities is the most relentless' – Arthur Schopenhauer

You loose every time, gnome, you're a fool and you have caught sight of your opposite nature both physically and mentally.

I mean, look at my body? AND I'm going to be a Doctor of Philosophy and lecture at universities with all these pretty young blinking girls looking up at me, marvelling at my physique and mental prowess and virile youth.

You, envy-green gnome, have caught sight of your opposite nature.

RE: whats the worst crime the world has ever seen committed ?..and did they get away with it ?

Kindly contribute something more than an empty refutation to the thread, Blockhead.

RE: God...fact or fiction?

We are all going to die and putrefy no matter what we have done in this life and if there is a punishment for it then it's a punishment for the crime of being born - INTO such a world and under such influences under which we acted or did not.

Maybe I am a sociopath or a narcissist (I have been diagnosed as narcissistic), but I feel and have absolutely no guilt whatsoever for anything I have ever done or would do.

I have merely learn from the consequences of my actions their value/ non-value.

Even the non-valuable ones are therefore valuable in so far as they can be learnt from.

I have no guilt: I live in a blissful state of non-guilt and self-admiration.

Some call it narcissism; I call it bliss.

RE: God...fact or fiction?

Yet the Romans brought as much - more? - civilization to the world than Christ himself – and then they later adopted [and, moreover, ADAPTED] his doctrine themselves as a most wise political move since it kept all the poor and powerless from revolt and kept them nice and meek and mild and content.

They invented roads, irrigation, sanitation, stern laws and rules over the savageness of man, military tactics and manoeuvres to protect and defend their establishments, policing and enforcement of laws over their citizens and ultimately a powerful and most excellent civilization – in fact the list is endless of what the Roman’s accomplished in the name of civilization that was and is ‘good’ and not ‘evil’ and ‘decadent.’ Just because it was wealthy, noble, powerful and stern is precisely WHY it was ‘good’.

And so, the Christians celebrate four things each and every year round: the birth of Christ, the Crucifixion and Resurrection, and the fact that they are STILL under Roman rule!!!!

The fools!!!

RE: God...fact or fiction?

Sir, from my boyhood up my childhood hero was Chaka Zulu.

I studied much of the folk-law of this great Zulu-King.

And I never forget these words of his regarding the Christian doctrine the English tried to impose on him and his people [paraphrased from the folk-law of course]: ‘What a foolish way for a King to rule over his people, with mercy and forgiveness. There can be only one King of Kings: Chaka! And the Heavens belong to ZULU!

I remember thinking in my youth that he was right, since man even in civilization is a savage and it takes an even greater – and more WILLING – savage to rule over him.

For Christianity is naught but a taming of the animal-will of man to weakness, meekness and mildness.

Christ teaches and preached a morality to and for the poor and powerless, the down-trodden - to exalt them over the heights of the rich and powerful - the supposed ‘evil’. Promising the destitute and poor ‘the kingdom of heaven’ and the rich and powerful that a camel would sooner pass through the eye of a needle than them into the Heavens.

The psychology is clear, all too clear.

Unless you would forsake this world for another, sir, HERE, man must be ruled with an iron fist and under stern laws even IN the name of God. Executed for crimes beyond punishment in terms of duration of imprisonment in particular.

Men sit in prison for crimes against humanity with over 600 year prison sentences in a fine and perfect example of the pathetic decadence and decay of mankind’s judgment made merciful over deeds God himself would send a soul into eternal hell for.

I for one would free them of their earthly concerns with no compunction or fear of a divine rebuke for such crimes as merit a sentence twice and thrice the span of a human life.

Some of us do not have a meek and mild but more savage and KINGLY morality inherit within.

Owing to the lack of strong deterrents as counter-motives to inhumane-crimes man appears to be more evil and becoming more evil in the civilised world today than ever in the past. The notions of good and evil, right and wrong, more obscure and debatable and above all TOLERATED than ever before.

Lending themselves to societal decadence.

Man must be ruled under an iron fist; man MUST be ruled.

But of the moral teachings of Christ I can say no thing against them in themselves.

And I believe in God: a God who once stood and would still stand – behind Kings of Men.

And these kingly notions of old, in themselves, nothing to do with vengeance, but deterrence.

RE: whats the worst crime the world has ever seen committed ?..and did they get away with it ?

Oh my Queen of Queens and you super-intelligent super-woman: you are almost there! You have just touched on it!!!!

RE: whats the worst crime the world has ever seen committed ?..and did they get away with it ?

As the worst crime the world has ever seen committed: still laughable, but yet it was worse.
