Too many history books refer to their versions as relatable. I don't find they represent all viewpoints of Historical events factually,aka massacres,treaties,contracts,aid,etc.
Indigenous clans were migratory for their survival,and related to the land as a giver. It was a Microsystem that they had attained a balance with. Natural cures,ecology,hunting and harvesting practices and unfortunately they were introduced to diseases,to intentionally extermination them.
Among other many other inhumane treatments practiced in their homeland, as governors. They would historically refer to these acts as directives from " the Father".
