A Swedish court has fined Greta Thunberg for failing to comply with a police order during a protest action in the southern city of Malmo last month, several local outlets reported on Monday.
The 20-year-old activist attempted to stage a protest in Oljehamnen, a port district in the northern part of the city, on June 19. Together with several members of the ‘Take Back the Future’ movement, she attempted to block the entry and exit of oil trucks from and into the port by sitting on the road. When police demanded they vacate the roadway, the group refused to move.
An officer who was present at the scene testified that the group did not have a permit for a demonstration. Against this backdrop, law enforcement decided to move the protesters because they were obstructing traffic.
As a result, Malmo District Court fined Thunberg 1,500 Swedish krona ($144).

On April 2, we were among the first to point out Did Bud Light Go 'Woke' With Trans-TikTok Star? Boycott Calls Intensify... And it was only weeks that high-frequency data from bars, restaurants, and distributors that Bud Light's marketing partnership with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney on TikTok led to one of the largest boycotts by consumers of a product in recent memory. From neighborhood bars to high-end restaurants, even on golf courses, the message with many beer drinkers was consistent: Bud Light's too 'woke.'
"Modelo may have unseated Bud Light at retail, but at high-volume bars and restaurants, it's a different story."
Miller Lite, Michelob Ultra, and Coors Light are now the top three selling beers
In a separate report, Deutsche Bank analyst Mitch Collett estimated Bud Light risks a permanent loss of nearly 25% of its business.
I understand. Yes it's quite different here than the blogs WOW Culture Shock and a Time Warp.
I remember those childhood days. We could do more than kids today. Even playgrounds had more. We had "Rec Centers" with free classes, I had ballet, some girls had gymnastics. Boys had sport teams and tournaments.
And you could rent (by giving them a bracelet or personal object) a ball or jacks or cards or chess games and play outside.
