Energy efficiency and other matters likethis has caused the uk drop down in the ratings with in europe cnsiderably. Then again when i compare what i had to comply with and do when i built my house in germany and the way they are built in the uk its no wonder that energy efficiency is in all mouths. if i came back to the uk, and built a house there then most builders wouldnt touch it and the neighbours would think i am building a nuclear bunker so i would more than likely build it in wood like they do here in swiss mountain villages and some of these chalets are over 200 years old, so they certainly know what they are doing.
Politicians dont nee to pass thes bills, cos the gvmt pays their heating and lighting bills, thy dont.
