He should know better, we live in a world with overpopulation. If there would have lived 100.000.000 in stead of about 8.000.000.000 the virus going round now wouldn't have been such a disaster.
Well, if there's just a few people left and there's not enough food, fuel etc. then people might start to fight, I bet they will, see what happens now in supermarkets during the virus. They're not fighting yet, but if there's not enough for people to survive, they will start fighting. People are egoistic and stupid. Always have been and always will be. We are never satisfied.
Before the world is coming to an end there will be no people left. It can be that people live as long as possible. But there have been many species living on this earth that are extinct now, like dinosaur. Every period lasted over 10.000 years. Sometimes it was an iceage, sometimes it was a flood worldwide.
Because of the global warming there might come a new flood ending all human life. But in the end when the sun comes to the end of it's life he will first grow, absorbing Mercurius, Venus, Earth and Mars and then it will implode and form a black hole. But this will be over several millions of years. Before the sun will absorb the earth the temperature here on earth will rise so immense that no living thing will survive.
It might be that people create a spaceship making it's own oxygen and that we can travel through space for ever, like in Battlestar Galactica. Humanity will search for planets where they can live and groups of people will leave the spaceship with several planets they visit. Else the spaceships would be overpopulated. It would be good if they start creating such spaceships right now, for the earth is already overpopulated. Let people travel to space and find new worlds, maybe they even can send signals to earth if they find such planets and we can send other people to that planets. That's the only chance the people have in my opinion. Else one day there won't be people anymore in space, or there must be living some on other planets right now. Nobody knows.

Totally agree, I think this virus has escaped from a laboratory, maybe by accident, maybe on purpose. If that turns out to be the fact, China has to explain the world why and pay bills of all companies that are losing money now, all the next of kin from those who lost their lives, all the people that lost their job etc. So I hope I am wrong that this was an biological weapon, else we might face worldwar 3
