Did you know yearly about 250.000 people in the USA die by medical failure and wrong use of medications? These are shocking nrs. I know someone who went to the hospital because her eyesight was going down. Due to the fact that the surgeon made different mistakes, she only sees 10% with her right eye. She can't cycle anymore, nor drive a car.
mine is almost empty most of the time, just have food for 2 or 3 days. Also only have a very small fridge. And because I don't drive a car and have to do all my shoppings on the bike, I can't transport too much food from the supermarket to my house. Walking ain't an option.
well, I heard even people keep walking in their pyjama's all day, during the lockdown. And why shouldn't they, if they can't go outdoors. And while sitting at home all day it's easy to take a snack like icecream now and then, especially when it's warm. Actually, since the lock down, I eat a small ice my self everyday.
Nothing else matters the most worthless piece of ballad ever written by a rock/metal band. Metallica lost it when they lost their bassplayer Cliff Burton in a tragic accident.
About 25% of the money will go to Italy. Just a little over 50% can be used as a gift, the other money will be a loan and they have to pay it back. The countries that want a gift must reform. So I think it's a good deal.
But I am sceptic about the EU. Most east-European countries don't accept fugitives, so the EU will give them a fine. The reaction of the east European countries: We'd rather pay the fine than we accept the fugs.
Maybe the EU should split in 3 parts, the Eastern part, the southern part (Austria, Spain, Portugal and Italy) and the Norrthwestern part (Scandinavia, Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Luxemburg, and France). Maybe then even the UK will join the Northwestern part again. Those are countries with a good and strong economy.
The southern part is the weakest link in the chain and you know the saying: A chain is as strong as it's weakest link.
Now the richer countries are giving money to the 'poor', but that can't go on forever. The poor countries should do more to create a stronger economy.
I always wondered if it isn't the same for colours. Maybe the colour I see when looking at the grass is the same as the colour someone else sees when he looks at the sky. But because we learned the grass is green (or brown) and the sky is blue, it doesn't matter.
