nope, don't watch any series anymore. Just the news and sometimes sports. And very sometimes a movie on Youtube. When I'm out of bed I prefer to be active on the computer instead of inactive behind my tv.
well, Only have a few sf books at home, most of them are from Tanith Lee, and 5 books of dr who. I am used to read more horror, thrillers, western and some detectives. Horror could also be sf sometimes.
It's about a girl, living in a world where robots and machines rule over three cities, and when she misbehaved too many times she is send to the desert where she learns how to live in a world without computers. Part of the story is impossible, like getting a new body when you are tired of your old, commiting suicide and the robots give you a new life, while you remember everything of your old life etc. But the main theme is that we don't need all these computers etc. without we can have a good life too, maybe even better. Makes you think...
It's the same in the Netherlands, and after the vaccinations, the people will have to start beginning to pay it all back. Maybe til the next generation. But due to our government our national debt was brought down the last years, so we could spend some more. And also due to the low interests worldwide, the debt isn't fatal.
Read the book Jang from Tanith Lee. How much Science fiction will it be in 50 or 100 years? Think about Jules Verne who wrote about a submarine and a zeppelin, long before they were even build for the first time. Science fiction became reality.
The Netherlands is in Lockdown from 00.00 tonight till somewhere half january. Schools closed, haircutters closed, gardenshops closed, homeimprovementshops closed. Gonna be a long boring christmas holiday. Hope the liquor stores will still be open.
well, in 50 years robots and computers will rule our world completely, people work from home, sitting the whole day behind their pc, controlled by a webcam.
