If my parents (only my mother left) don't like her, well, that's her bad luck, if I have to choose between my girlfriend or my mother, I would choose for my girlfriend. For I hope to live with her forever, my mother I only visit once in a while.
Well, in the Netherlands a lot of people use the word Kanker, meaning cancer (the disease, not the zodiac sign). And even more people hate it when they use that word to curse. Also young guys use the word to say Kanker vet, which means it's awesome or great. Using this term if you don't mean the disease is hurtful for a lot of people, especially the ones who lost a loved one to it or have relatives that are suffering from this disease.
the whole world is laughing about Trump, the only president they tried to impeach twice in the history of the USA, and the man that had to admit that his calls for fraud and stolen elections were all lies.
well, since some years in the Netherlands people related to the murdered victims are able to speak in court when the murderer stands trial. But often it's very painful for them. Especially when the lawyers tell detail for detail how the victim was murdered or butchered. But I think it's good that the relatives has a say in what the penalty should be. And that they can tell the murderer how he ruined their lives.

of course the same rule should count for everyone. Last summer our minister of justice married and gave a big party. While other people who gave a party were fined he didn't get anything. Unfortunately for him the press filmed it all, and so he payed the money he thought he would have to pay for the fine to the red cross. But then afterwards he was fined afterall, and had to pay extra for every guest he had on his marriage. The governments obviously don't know what they are doing, they leave it to the cities to make their own rules, and it's clear that this doesn't work. Lately in Amsterdam a 66 years old woman was fined because she was peeing in public (actually she was hidden behind some bushers). She tried all the public toilets, but all were closed due to the pandemic. So she had not much choice, she got the fine and now goes to court. And I already know what the judge is gonna tell her. She doesn't have to pay as long as she doesn't do it again in the coming 2 years. I've avoided to pay several fines that way.
well, I have music of Fats Domino, Chubby Checker and Ray Charles, also jefferson Airplane, Herman's Hermits, Buddy Holly and The Hollies. Most bands where gone when I was born in 1968. But that's okay, just like their music.
lot of scammers here on this site. Asking for your emailadress, and when you look at their profile, they don't seem to know where they live. Think Amsterdam is situated in Limburg province while it should have been North Holland province.
of course it is. The world is overcrowded with people who hardly have a natural enemy, except bacteria, insects, and people themselves. And the people are doing a lot of harm to mother nature, with polluting the environment. The more people, the more pollution and trash. But also more nature has to be destroyed, for every man and woman need there food, so we need more and more cattle and ground for fields with corn, soja, palmoil etc. Today I heard on dutch television the vaccins probably only work for three months. The Netherlands a rather small, but crowded country with about 17.5 million people needs 6 months to vaccinate everybody, the vaccin only seems to work for three months, so then we never get rid of the virus unless a large group of people die. I always thought we would get a civil war within our borders against the islamists that try to devastate our culture, now I think we are facing a third world war, against the virus. And of course it ain't nice to lose relatives or to become ill, but somehow humanity needed this virus. The more people die, the bigger the chance for the others to survive.
