Of course, but the reason they want to leave HK is the tight grip of China on HK. I think the British can benefit from this situation, allowing them to come over. At least the ones that went to university. Also the young ones, for most European countries are suffering with the problem that the old people live longer, due to more hygiene and better healthcare. If I had to choose for my country, I would say, they are welcome. In my youth the Netherlands got a small group of Vietnam Fugitives, and we never hear about trouble with Vietnamese people, not even the 2nd or 3rd generation.
Fact is that people from HK are often well educated and hard workers. Maybe the UK could use them very well now after the Brexit. You hardly have trouble with people from china, or south east asia. They are used to strict law and order and behave like such. Okay, there is the mafia in most of the countries, but the common people hardly notice that, except for the drugsdealers in the streets and pubs.
So if the UK invites all the young and well educated people from HK to live with them, I guess you should be glad. It will give the country a better position in world trade. And their females are very pretty...
last year I got a box of westerns in magazinformat. Last year I've been spending time reading the most of them, and now I am almost finished so I put them on the dutch ebay-site. Hope to sell them all soon.
power is the possibility to control other people. Which is stupid, for we are all people with the same goals, surviving and getting rich. It's strange that a small group that became rich got the power about billions of people. 1% of the people have 99% of all the money in the world, wouldn't it be time to theow all the money on the floor and divide it in an honest way?
By the way, I guess most countries have a cancer foundation. They say they use the money for research, but it seems every foundation does it's own research, wouldn't it be more usefull when they all work together? And while they all get millions a year, the pharmacy goes away with the money, they ask ridiculous prices for medication.
In the Netherlands they spend about 35% for the charity, the other money is for hiring buildings, personal, advertisements on television, promotionmaterials etc. The promotion materials they only have to buy once in a few years. Directors going home with about 700.000 a year, they hire the most expensive buildings etc. While all they need is some garageboxes for advertisementmaterial etc. and a small office with about 5 people who arrange everything. I can do it, so I guess they can do it too. That's why I don't give to charities, only the Max Euwecentre in Amsterdam, a museum about chess and the only dutch worldchampion we ever had in chess.
computers made us lazy, and because everything now is runned by computers it will get worse and worse.
But, in healthcare computers are very usefull, often a computer can do a better job than people can. And there are more things where a computer is necessary.
Should everybody have a computer? I guess not. Most of the people use the computer only because they've got nothing better to do.
A few pubs in the Netherlands went bankrupt during the lockdown. But there are area's in cities where there are very much pubs in a small area, some of them are empty most of the time. It's a way to get rid of criminal money. And in many pubs there's illegal harddrugs dealing, mostly coke.
So, if in the big cities pubs disappear, I don't care, if it is in a small village, it's different, often there's one pub for the whole village. In my village the pubs organize a yearly fishing match, a pub quiz, condoleances when someone dies, there are billiardsclubs 4 evenings a week and when there's formule1 racing or footballmatches they have a big screen where people come to look. Also often card evenings like poker etc.
For a village a pub is more than a social place to meet with others.
Hey everybody Join together unified Hey are you ready For us all to fight for pride It's our last chance to defend Our war cries to the bitter end
Pray up to the heavens Our creator justifies...
A war dance of indians It's my own allegiance to the fight Me... white... breed... Everybody simbolize Join together unified
Hey everybody Come together, raise the knife Same old promise That we've heard a thousand times
It's our last chance to defend War cries to the bitter end As man shows his ignorance It's my own allegiance to the fight Fight... me... white... breed... Everybody simbolize Join together unified Fight... me... white... breed... Everybody stand and rise And join together unified
RE: Good Advice
when you get guests you don't like feed them some pie with laxatives, and remove the toiletpaper, saying you forgot to buy it.
