CS: Change is glorified...and a little change can and is positive. Too much change has literally destroyed our humanity. Think about the incessant EVIL the Internet, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Google, Instagram, Video gaming, (which has and continues to disable our kids, which promotes obesity, and so on). The old saying..."If it ain't broke, don't fix it". My point is, the world was a better place before all these entities 'changed' things for the worse. These things have made us lazier, much less active, destroyed the family, destroyed motivation, destroyed reasoning, transformed hate and so much more. The negatives Far out way the positives! Our existence was much less chaotic and rationality was a thing before all these "advancements". For those who say change is necessary, FU! Doing good is necessary! What all these changes have done is an atrocity!!!!!!!!!!!!
I actually empathise with your statement. I detest the access to the internet for so many, how it’s expected and now part of life .
But I can’t lay blame on “change” People forget the barbaric atrocities of years gone by, the lack of empathy for others , the years of stigmas and racial issues.
Change will always happen as we evolve as a species. Sometimes it can be a benefit, and sometimes a negative. You have to remind yourself of the times and the issues always faced within each era. We hold no messiah complex on ffing it up. .

Wednesdayschild: Beautiful lady...my basic point is these things have destroyed the human disposition, period. Also, the wicked wealthy are behind MOST everything bad.
Everything man does is artificial and eventually we return to the primitive barbarians from which we came. It’s as inevitable as globalisation. Progress ends when you’re 100% unnatural.
Read James Michener's book, Poland and you will see real incessant evil. There are many aspects of internet society that are so bad for us. I don't think we are on the brink of destruction. It seems that way because of the increased "news" sources we have. They trip over themselves to be the most negative.Take a step back and gain a new perspective.

”there is nothing new under the sun”. The world will not bring optimistic wonderfulness to you—you must bring those to the world. Figure this out, and life will be much easier.
lookn2share: CS: Change is glorified...and a little change can and is positive. CHANGE is actually the thing that most humans find the most difficult to handle - even when it a 'change for the better' such as winning lotto. It places people in a low grade (at least) of fear, and that upsets the entire hormone cascade in the body ... they don't know how to cope and the 'rational thinking' ability is affected when it would be most be needed. Hence we seek counsel of others, and military / police officers are trained to a higher level of mental fortitude than the ranks. Freeze, Flee or Fight are actually the 'animal instincts' that govern the human animal that we each occupy. Too much change has literally destroyed our humanity. Not so much 'too much' as 'TOO QUICKLY' eh ? Reality is that Mankind can only advance and evolve at the pace of the slowest, weakest link. If you consider a paper chain as an analogy, pull slowly and it can be used to drag quite a weight ... but, if you accelerate too quickly then the 'weakest link' will break. Those who 'race off ahead' soon find that they needed those lagging behind. Those lagging behind become fearful and angry, and they attack those who advanced and created the advances. Each person has a place in Humanity, just as each limb and sense has a role in the Individual Human Body Think about the incessant EVIL the Internet, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Google, Instagram, Video gaming, (which has and continues to disable our kids, which promotes obesity, and so on). Said respectfully - the above is actually what you are doing here ... attacking the advances made and by insinuation attacking those who have created those advances and blaming them 'For All The Ills Of Society' Is gates an Evil man ... no, he genuinely wants to help the world with vaccinations and population reduction - but fails to see the downside of vaccination, and doesn;t understand it's a 'Human Problem' of degraded compassion and greed that has led to 'The 1% owning about 97% of all the wealth and often abusing the power that affords them - The old saying..."If it ain't broke, don't fix it". My point is, the world was a better place before all these entities 'changed' things for the worse. It's a good point, but flawed - because these are NEW inventions and were not really intended to ' FIX' anything. For example 'What is it that the internet fixed? What is it that Cellphones 'fixed' ... the answer is 'They FIXED nothing at all, rather they created many many new possibilities and opportunities. Some have been developed for The Greater Good and some have been abused by those with darker min sets. These things have made us lazier, much less active, destroyed the family, destroyed motivation, destroyed reasoning, transformed hate and so much more. Actually no - having a computer on their desk and a smart phone in their pocket does not and CANNOT MAKE anyone anything. Certainly SOME WILL BECOME Lazier because they neglect their work and 'real life' in favour of playing idly ( but same happneded when TV became widespread) OTHERS 'Will Become more productive, more organised, and free up time to undertake worthwhile education / social / real life projects and etc as they 'use the tools' properly The negatives Far out way the positives! Our existence Sorry but YOU was much less chaotic and rationality was a thing before all these "advancements".

Chuckles 'Doing Good' is a VERY, perhaps The Ultimate in Subjective Opinion - I'm sure those who stir up rebellion and conflict across the world such as BLM at present consider 'they are doing good' while those who are suffering the violence, mayhem, deaths of their children will think otherwise

computers made us lazy, and because everything now is runned by computers it will get worse and worse.
But, in healthcare computers are very usefull, often a computer can do a better job than people can. And there are more things where a computer is necessary.
Should everybody have a computer? I guess not. Most of the people use the computer only because they've got nothing better to do.

Only someone who's probably never read a book in their lives..or ever used the internet for it's intended purpose..would say something like the above....
It's always the vacuous "me me me" screeching rabble who've never done an altruistic thing in their lives...or contributed a single thing to the world.that have the loudest complaints about everything
lookn2share: blathin: Never apologize for how you feel!! I don't care what people say...maybe a little if it is comprehendible.
lol I wasn't apologising for how I felt Lookn... I don't think I even expressed any feelings to be honest..I jsut said sorry in response to your "ouch".....that's all
WalMart owed me 50. cents change and they would not give it to me because they are out of change and they kept it. Not enough change! They wouldn't even let me go back to buy a .50 sweet potato pie.
Orzzz: Change is linked to finding a lazier way to do something and make a bigger profit.
Is it not actually INTELLIGENT to seek to find ways of doing things more efficiently while expending less energy, whether that be human energy or generated energy?

consider this quote:
“The reasonable man attempts to adapt himself to the world. The unreasonable man attempts to make the world adapt to HIM. Therefore, all progress depends upon the unreasonable man”.
