RE: Will your political views...limit who you date?

No. It's already hard enough to find someone who shares my interests and morals but if I have to take politics into account I might as well go monk.

RE: First movie I noticed someone for the first time and recognized they were a great actor.

thumbs up
Great actress.

RE: Resolutions/Affirmations

Do you think all those people who got blown up to pieces in various places around the world got blown up because they didn't think happy thoughts?

RE: Resolutions/Affirmations

I'm happy about that! It was about time, cave-man time is long gone.

RE: Resolutions/Affirmations

Are you sure about that?

Granted, we may get a reprieve, but for the 50yrs I been on earth it's only gone from bad to worse so based on the past ( which is our only basis for speculation ) it can only get worse and I'm not just talking pandemic.

RE: First movie I noticed someone for the first time and recognized they were a great actor.

I understand why you say that.]
No you don't.
I'm not talking about her acting as a child actress. That would be unfair.
I'm talking about her acting in general. I've seen her in half a dozen movies ( which I didn't see for her but for other reasons ) and, to me, she's not a good actress at all.
It's just my opinion. It has no consequences whatsoever.

RE: First movie I noticed someone for the first time and recognized they were a great actor.

Giants... They don't make 'em like they used to.

RE: First movie I noticed someone for the first time and recognized they were a great actor.

Portman was passable in Star Wars if not mediocre, overshadowed by R2D2, C3P0 and the Jar-Jar Binks actors.
Any young female lead would've done the trick thanks to Lucas's direction.

V for Vendetta is a good movie. Again, Portman’s performance is just OK and very forgettable.

Respectfully, Galrads cheers

RE: First movie I noticed someone for the first time and recognized they were a great actor.

Oh yes. She was great in Mask. Definitely.

RE: First movie I noticed someone for the first time and recognized they were a great actor.

thumbs up

I was also pleasantly surprised by her performance in that movie. I don't care for her singing but her acting is very good in my opinion.
Too bad she didn't go on to make more movies.

RE: First movie I noticed someone for the first time and recognized they were a great actor.

I'll have to respectfully disagree with you. She's a bad actress in my opinion, very bad.
She couldn't hold a candle to Charlize Theron or Amie Adams, let alone Renée Zellweger or Scarlett Johansson and forget about Glen Close or Sigourney Weaver, she's not even in the same universe as those.

RE: How do you think other member perceive you..

Same to you, dude grin cheers

RE: How do you think other member perceive you..

thumbs up
Amen to that.

RE: Do women prefer real or faker finger nails?

I like fake nails on a woman, it tells me she takes the time to take good care of herself.
If she takes the time and money to care for her hands she must take the time and money to care for the rest of her body smitten and that's always a plus.

Also, a lot of women have weak nails and they use fake nails to protect their real nails.
Other women have tendency to bite their nails so they put fake ones on to break from the habit.

RE: Rules for 2021

Hey! 2020 was great for me. I'll remember it fondly.

RE: Happy new year

Thanks, Ali.
Have yourself a good year.
Don't sweat the small stuff.
Take care cheers

RE: Did you know....?

Did you know that our atoms vibrates so fast that they actually have two states of being, one in the visible spectrum and the other in the invisible spectrum?
I'll let you research and fathom the implications of such a discovery. cheers

RE: 11 Causes Of Rudeness

For sure. The workplace isn't a place to vent or rant about personal problems and customers are all to be treated equally, with respect if not kindness.
Sounds like xxx is the mascot of the place and the owner looks to have his own reasons for keeping him on.
Too bad you didn't ask them why he wasn't fired yet laugh

RE: what song taught you the most in life?

RE: Animals have no soul....!

You're welcome. Just basically conversing Not expecting anyone to be moved one way or the other. I don't aim to make converts. To each their responsibility to understand themselves and the worlds around them, the seen one and the unseen one.

God blesses me every time I take a breath. Life is not a 'right', it's a privilege, a gift and it doesn't belong to us.

laugh

RE: Animals have no soul....!

thumbs up
Thanks for added meaning of 'psyche'. I didn't know about the butterfly metaphorically dramatizing our experiences as souls on earth. That's neat.
