A athiest and agnostic are going to hell and I am NOT the one sending them there. That is not my judement call at all. Each and everyone of us will eventually have to give a account of how we lived our lives here on earth, regardless of whether we believe that or not. I won't apologize for what I believe, only for the wrong decisions I make that prove to be wrong. A athiest believes there is no God...if he or she is right they have nothing to worry about from me, I did'nt write God's Word. I am also not pushing my faith or belief on anyone, that is a personal issue. I will share if asked, what I believe and why. As far as nasty go'es, I don't think I have been. I did'nt tell him to stick his shoe in his mouth, nor did I call him a old man. Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I thought I was reasonably civil, maybe with a touch of rudeness, but that's just me and my imperfection's.
Wixie, shame! You claim to be a God-fearing christian! Is it no wonder that the attendance in our churches is diminishing?[/quote]
Shame??? For what? The guy evidently thinks he has a better way of life over there, with more freedoms etc. God love him, let him stay over there. He obviously believes he has it better, so let him enjoy...from my viewpoint, he is just one less negative thing to deal with here on the home-front. He is certainly entitled to his opinion, as am I. I am a Christian and proud of it and my church is growing faster than we can put seats in it. The people are the church, not the building. BTW Christians are not perfect, just saved! We still put our pant's on the same way as everybody else...one leg at a time. We still have the same emotions, frustrations, what have you, as anyone else. We still have the same likes and dislikes and opportunities to be right or wrong. Please don't judge me, you're not qualified for that. I promise I will try not to judge you either...I'm not qualified either.
That is a very hard thing to pray for, but it is also a very unselfish thing also. I have been there before more than once in my life. Somethings you just have to submit yourself to, as being out of your control. I try to look for the comfort in the fact that God is ultimately in control of everything. It makes my release of a situation like death, easier. God knows how to take care of His Creation far better than I ever could.
I agree Conrad! What we need in Washington is someone strong enough of character who will stand up to the Banks and Big Business and say enough is enough. Someone who honestly gives a damn about the people as a whole. We tend to elect puppet presidents who are led by the nose of everyone with a agenda. Until we find such a person who can truely lead and that, by example, thing's will stay Status Quo! You can call yourself a Republican, Democrat, whatever you want, but, a wolf in sheep's clothing is still a wolf. jmo
I have alway's joked and said that if someone were to drop a nuclear bomb, I hoped it would be right on top of my head. I don't want to feel anything, I want it to be done and over with; for myself and for my family. I am a very emotional person when the occasion arises. I can't bear the thought of losing loved ones, especially my children. Just the thought that it could happen angers and upsets me, even though I know that death for everyone is inevitable. I don't like to see people sufffer and know that there is nothing I can do to stop it. Also, I know I could'nt handle having my son and daughter watching me die. I for one, can't stand the thought of seperation from them. The good news for me is, I believe I have something better to look forward to when I pass and that is someday, I can share in eternity with my loved ones, what I was'nt able to in this life. Everyone must die eventually...I hope to with speed and grace and no regrets for the way I lived this life. Time will tell.
Which began with Johnson....forget Nixon, he was a 70's Bush! 2 moron's from different mother's. Kennedy was the last great Democrat...had he lived we very well could have bypassed the Vietnam war.
Time will tell! I don't mean or intend to be harsh, although I can be from time to time. I alway's try to be fair, but sometimes I err. I'm human after all. All I will say is BEWARE! You have heard the term, 'wolf in sheep's clothing,' I'm sure.
You have every reason to be proud of your family. I was in the Navy AND LATER the Merchant Marines. All I will say about the guy is BEWARE...he is a wolf in sheep's clothing. IMO Time will tell if I am right or wrong in my belief.
BTW this is the 2nd response to you...my pc froze up a few minutes ago and I had to redo! lol
Fox News has little if any impact on me, I'm partial to CNN for my worldly news and my local channels for the rest. As I have said....I am neither Rep. or Dem. I am for the one whose values, morals, and way of thinking, closest, match up to my own.
Nobody has to do my thinking for me, I'm quite capable of doing that for myself. BTW I've given 7 years of my life in service to my country...how many have you given in service to your's? Let me guess, 0. It is people like you who enjoy the free ride as long as they don't have to become personally involved with the process. All criticism and no contribution.
Perhap's...but I have no respect for the person who single handedly is trying to destroy my constitution and way of life. Our forefather's fought and died to make this country the leader in the free world that it is today and so did I and the many who are still fighting. Freedom is not at all free, it comes with a price, and that idiot in Washington is doing his best to destroy it....and no I am not a republican either. I did'nt much care for Bush, but he was the best alternative at the time. BUSH'S big problem....He lost focus! Not to mention he did'nt possess the smarts of his father...
Yes he has, he left the republican party in support of Yomama! Too bad, I would have voted for him had he ran...I'm telling you, keep your eye on Yomama...he's not who or what you think he is...he's worse!
While he's in a apologizing mood, I'd like to hear him apologize to the American people for winning the presidency, and go back to where he came from....where ever it was.
RE: REPUBLICAN RULE NO MORE
That's my personal view...what's so hard to understand there?
