RE: A chat about chanting

I wasn't attempting to offend anyone. If anyone was offended, it was an unintentional bonus. smile

RE: A chat about chanting

I don't offend you. If you are offended, then you are the one that did it. dunno

RE: A chat about chanting

When I hear chanting, it reminds me of sheep bleating. And when you think about it, that's pretty much what it is. sheep

RE: Dating and politics

And yet any other kind wouldn't touch you with a barge pole. I think you are in what is known as a catch 22 situation. drinking

RE: Was Jesus White?

Of course it makes a difference. If we don't know his colour, how can we know how much we mind his being crucified?

RE: Was Jesus White?

I think some believe that his father had slightly loftier origins than that. drinking

RE: Have you ever...had a profile review?

I do like Lee's discussion threads. One learns so much. drinking

RE: Have you ever...had a profile review?

And the green light has gone out again.

RE: Have you ever...had a profile review?

It's shocking, isn't it, Lee?

RE: Have you ever...had a profile review?

His green light is back on. It didn't take long, I wonder if he enjoyed it.

RE: Have you ever...had a profile review?

Mr. Wilson is no longer with us, Lee. sigh

RE: Have you ever...had a profile review?

Okay, I'll start the ball rolling.

Why are you such a twerp, Lee? pointing That's my question. smile

RE: A chat about fear

Here we go. doh

RE: A chat about fear

I never claimed to be non judgemental. In my considered opinion, Lee is a moron. I fail to see how one could come to any other conclusion. dunno

RE: A chat about fear

Listening to Lee can -and invariably is- an act of foolishness. smile

RE: A chat about fear

The only thing I can suggest is that when you see fear mongering in this forum, or in the blogs, draw attention to it.

RE: A chat about fear

Fear is a powerful motivator, and is the favourite weapon of the liar with an agenda. If it is in his interest to manipulate public opinion to support his cause, fear is the most effective way of achieving that.

If some organisation had, for example, a vested interest in stopping the roll out of 5G, it would be an advantage to them if they could frighten the public into rejecting 5G.

If keeping Trump in the White House serves your purposes, a good way to make that happen would be to make people frightened of having a Democrat in it.

If you are very reluctant to lose the privileges that a male dominated society gives you, then joining forces with like minded people and conducting a campaign of lies to promote a fear of feminism might be a great help to you.

I don't know who it would benefit, or how it would benefit them, but you can be sure that those behind the efforts to frighten the population into resisting official policy on the current virus crisis do have something significant to gain by it.

An alarmingly high number of posts on this site have the sole purpose of instilling fear into us in order to make us behave in a particular way, and even more alarmingly, some of us seem to be foolish enough to believe them.

RE: 16th of May 2010

King of Rock n Roll? confused

Favourite song? confused

Who is he? confused

I've never heard of him. dunno

RE: What qualifies as modern humor

My theory is that when the environment turns ugly, the humour does the same. And things have definitely got uglier here.

RE: A chat about loyalty

Yes, he probably is, but no one knows for sure. Lee thinks that if he puts his picture up, someone will steal his soul. devil

RE: A chat about loyalty

Now you can take a break from filling in as Ben Turpin.

Embedded image from another site

RE: A chat about loyalty

You obviously know a lot more about the situation than I do. dunno

RE: A chat about loyalty

You can either tell me, or be responsible for my laying awake all night wondering. hmmm

RE: A chat about loyalty

Don't be stupid Lee. Whatever I may have done in that respect has not been secretive.

RE: A chat about loyalty

Now who could you be, I wonder. hmmm

RE: A chat about loyalty

No, I am not a leader. Not much of a follower either.

RE: A chat about loyalty

Twins don't come in threes, Lee. scold Stupid boy. roll eyes

RE: A chat about loyalty

Lee can take the lead, but no one would dream of following him.

RE: A chat about loyalty

Is there much of a market for grandmothers? hmmm

RE: A chat about loyalty

I am very loyal, so you would have to extend the range to eleven if I am to participate in this pointless exercise. drinking
