I don't like to assume anything about the original poster but I have a feeling he's lashing out at us moms for a certain reason.

For me it would be becoming a burden where I could no longer care for myself and become dependent on someone I love.

I don't usually get too upset on this site but this time I'll make an exception.

I have a son close to your age and if he would've dared to show as much disrespect as you have to the parents in this thread he'd be in for the tongue lashing of his life.

You state in your profile that you're 29 yrs old, don't have or want any children of your own but..Yet You can dare sit behind your PC and type and tell these parents in so many words that they're not decent parents.How dare you.

I became a single parent but not by choice.Thank god my son is an adult and on his own.Totally out of the nest so to speak.
So if I should happen to meet someone and if that man just happens to be a jerk I won't have any need to worry about the welfare of my son.

When I lived in Southern Cal we had an Ocelot.Never had to worry to awfully much about burglars or harming our sons when they were little.

We lived in a upstairs apartment with a balconey.Well one day my late husband and I went out to do some shopping.While we were gone someone had broke into our apartmet.When we walked farther inside we noticed that the sliding screen out to the balconey was damaged Saw Ocee standing on the balconey.Ocee was the kind of cat that would let someone in our apartmet but he just wouldn't let anyone leave. Well anyway Ocee had cornnered the burgler and the guy had no way out but down.

My late husband called the police while I went to get the lead for Ocee.When the police arrived we placed the lead on Ocee and the burgler gladly went along.


Sure I'd loved to have another big kitty cat but it's impossible to have one.

With exception of illegals and only IF they have their citizenship.
