I think i know what your'e saying,Angel. Do you think you know,or are aware of something, but on a deeper, maybe even subconcious level? Is that it? I am glad you do not seem frightened,by the weird events you describe.
Love you too,Miss Miro. I am so happy to know that you are not mad at me,after all. Did you read my cow story, then? Did you like it? I have no more funny insurance stories,at the moment. But you may find my 'Superstitious Nutter' thread,on the U.K. forum,to your amusement.
About the loss of sound on your computer. Have you tried taking out the lead to the speaker, then re-plugging it? That worked for me,when i had the same problem.
Great! I am already in situ, then. (the dog house, that is) I got the distinct feeling she was sore at me the other night, about my cow story. When all i was trying to do,was make her laugh. I could feel a distinct Easterly wind, with more than a touch of ice,in it!
Maybe it is'nt. What Mike said about people who think that if they do nothing wrong, they have nothing to worry about, comes closest to what i have thought, for ages. I am not bothered,if BB watches me pop into ASDA for some bread rolls. Or watches me wander into the 'Dog&Duck, for a swift half. But i DO feel more reassured, that i am less likely to get assaulted in the town centre, with all those cameras watching out for anyone who so much as drops chewy on the pavement.
A friend told me once, how she and some of her friends decided to "have some fun" with a ouija board. They were all blaming each other for pushing the glass around, after the word 'death',was spelled out. When the electric light started to flicker, they decided to quit while they were ahead. She still comes out in goosebumps, when telling her story. Probably,it was just someone messing about, though no one ever owned up to it. But then again. Maybe it was'nt.
There may be genuine mediums, out there,SB. But there are certainly a lot of fraudsters, too,or quacks. And surely it is the worst kind of cynicism,to offer distressed people hope, when they are incapable,of what they claim. They can find a snippet of information about someone, and make the most of it. It is a lot easier to make someone believe, when they WANT to believe.
Oh,the misguided bravado,of these poor fools! They would queue up,to open the Door To Darkness To embark on an expedition of no return To The Netherworlds Of Diabolical Realms. Where the plaintive wails of tortured souls, Go unheard, and unheeded.
This is in regard to Zellarone's foolhardy contemplation of dabbling in The Occult, and Beenabout's open scepticism-:
Easily torn,is the flimsy fabric that insulates us from Dark Dimensions, by those who are foolish enough to tear it. And to do so,is to open the the gate-way,to unrelieved nightmares. Closed, must remain, the Portal to pain, and everlasting anguish.
Recently.i visited my doctor for a routine check-up,and he asked me" how much do i drink in a week?" Sitting back with great complacency,i said,"2 bottles of wine,doc,1 on Saturday, and 1 in mid-week,depending on the football." The doctor said, and can you believe this? "I think you should cut down" In the most reasonable voice i could summon,i said,"but doctor, there are 5 days in the week when i don't usually drink".Doc said,"that's ok,but it's the other 2 days that i am concerned about". Just as well i did'nt tell him about the days when the 'unscheduled Shiraz',comes out. When a little celebration is called for. Like today. Man City 2 Liverpool 3. See where i'm coming from?
What, you mean you resemble Dawn French? I think she is well cuddly. She is a scream in 'The Vicar Of Dibley'. I'd start going to church again,if she was in my parish!
NO1,you are right. It's a funny thing, usually,i don't 'go for' red heads. But some of them are among the most beautiful women i have ever seen. The one that springs immediately to mind,is Amy Nuttall. Do you know her? She is a classical singer, and she was an actress in the soap 'Emmerdale',a while back. I am not a soap watcher,as such, but i watched that one while she was in it.
Card reading may or may not be quite safe. For some it is the 1st stepping stone to a nightmare that there is no waking up from. No doubt, some will say i am being melodramatic. Dismiss me as a crackpot, even. Of course, the lure of this, with some people,is just to see,if there is anything there. But,once you have seen, you can't unsee. Better not to see,in the first place.
Well,i am not one to bear a grudge. Normally. I am sure that if you say i must,i could find it in my heart to forgive them for psychologically scarring me. And ruining a perfectly good pair of jeans!
That is amazing! And here is me,all this time, marvelling at wonderful command of the English language,of our friends in Europe! Now,i'll probably find out that Mirodenia grew up in the next street to mine!
Serious announcement, by superstitious nutter with pathetic love life.
