Yes Bobby Goldsboro and the one by Dolly is "Me and little Andy",If I listen to Honey I full up and "Little Andy' I'll cry. Both together I would have to get drunk.lol.......
Late one cold and stormy night I heard a dog-a-barkin'. Then I thought I heard somebody at my door a knockin'. I wondered who could be outside in such an awful storm. Then I saw a little girl with a puppy in her arms.
Before I could say a word she said, "My name is Sandy. And this here is my puppy dog, it's name is little Andy." Standing in the bitter cold in just a ragged dress. Then I asked her to come in and this is what she said.
"Ain't ya got no gingerbread? Ain't ya got no candy? Ain't ya got an extra bed for me and little Andy?
Patty cake, a baker's man, my mommy ran away again. We was all alone and didn't know what else to do, I wondered if you'd let us stay with you.
Giddyup Charlie horse, going to the mill. Can we stay all night? If you don't love us, no one will, I promise we won't cry! London Bridge is falling down, my daddy's drunk again in town. We was all alone and didn't know what we could do. We wondered if you'd let us stay with you."
She was just a little girl, not more than six or seven. That night as they slept the angels took them both to heaven. God knew little Andy would be lonesome with her gone. Now Sandy and her puppy dog won't ever be alone.

This one gets me all the time,I'am feeling the lump in my adamsapple reading it. "HONEY" See the tree, how big it's grown But friend it hasn't been too long It wasn't big I laughed at her and she got mad The first day that she planted it, was just a twig Then the first snow came And she ran out to brush the snow away So it wouldn't die Came runnin' in all excited Slipped and almost hurt herself And I laughed till I cried She was always young at heart Kinda dumb and kinda smart and I loved her so And I surprised her with a puppy Kept me up all Christmas Eve two years ago And it would sure embarrass her When I came in from workin' late 'Cause I would know That she'd been sittin' there and cryin' Over some sad and silly late, late show
And honey, I miss you And I'm bein' good And I'd love to be with you If only I could
She wrecked the car and she was sad And so afraid that I'd be mad But what the heck Though I pretended hard to be Guess you could say she saw through me And hugged my neck I came home unexpectedly And caught her cryin' needlessly In the middle of the day And it was in the early Spring When flowers bloom and robins sing She went away
And honey, I miss you And I'm bein' good And I'd love to be with you If only I could
One day while I was not at home While she was there and all alone The angels came Now all I have is memories of Honey And I wake up nights and call her name Now my life's an empty stage Where Honey lived and Honey played And love grew up And a small cloud passes overhead And cries down on the flower bed That Honey loved
And see the tree how big it's grown But friend it hasn't been too long It wasn't big And I laughed at her and she got mad The first day that she planted it, was just a twig

Because our leaders get us in unneeded wars and raise taxes, Cigaretts are 10 bucks in new york and around 8 dollars are taxes, the same with gas it almost 4 bucks a gallon and a barrel cost about 70 bucks for the us to buy and if a barrel is 55 gallons they sell it for 550 dollars making a 495 dollar profit, I know the workers like drivers and gas stations have to get paid but most is taxes.JMO
Doody that story got me feeling good, I use to help people out and do little things that would help people in some small but meaningful way out of the blue, tommorow I'am going to do somthing nice for someone and get back in the swing of things,it really feels good to do nice things for someone.
