IMO people know right from wrong and whether they know the particular statute word for word is unreasonable. The problem is law makers only enforce the laws which further their careers leaving victims with no recourse. Its called selective prosecution. LIke if I get pulled over and get a DUI (drunk driving), and the same cop pulls over a judge, lawyer or politician, they walk. Where is the ignorance? The ignorance comes from the general public who actually believe that we're all playing on the same field by the same rules.
Thanks You can say I am humorless thats OK with me, as long as you dont mind me saying you are truck driverish. Being Celtic/female I guess you wont understand that. at your expense.
Your off your own topic. Where was the "love" in your thread? We were talking about being impressed werent we? So back to the original two questions, would you be impressed or not?
I'm not saying your completely wrong in your assessment, but correct me if I'm wrong. When someone searches on this site, isn't the first thing they see your picture, and then click on it to see your profile? If thats true a picture is worth a thousand words at least until they actually make it to your profile. But what do I know? Pic = 10% as you estimate seems a little bit low in my opinion.
I am a fall down drunken alcoholic, and most of the women I meet are already on the floor (sometimes passed out) so they rarely ever think its a turn off. JUst kiddin. IMO it depends on the type of girl and her drinking habits. Its a toss up, some maybe yes others maybe no. Either way good luck.
I dont think anyone here can really give you a definative answer. Everyone is different with different opinions and experiences with different people. It may or it may not, who really knows? Go ask the Oracle in the Matrix, she seems to have all of the answers. Either way good luck.
I went to IE into tools> internet options>programs tab>manage add-ons or you can go directly from Tools>manage add-ons and started disabling add-ons I dont know if its gonna work or not but I'll let you know if it's better or not.
I just ran in to the same problem since CS reformated. I have no answer, but will share it with you when I find out, and hopefully you will return the favor if you find a fix first.
Problem: The "Show Pictures" setting has been turned off in Internet Explorer. Solution: In Internet Explorer's Tools menu, click Internet Options, then click the Advanced tab. Make sure the Show Pictures check box is selected under Multimedia, and click OK.
Problem: Your anti-virus or firewall is a little too uppity. Check to see if your anti-virus or firewall software has a privacy setting to "disable web bugs". Solution: Uncheck or turn it off. (The term "web bug" is a misnomer. They are really just harmless tiny images on a web page or email, sometimes used for tracking purposes.)
Problem: Your Internet Explorer security settings are set too high, preventing you from accessing the web site which hosts the image. Solution: Reset to the default security settings. In Internet Explorer, click on Tools -> Internet Options -> Security -> Default Level.
Problem: You've installed the Windows XP/SP2 updates and you're being bitten by the "Block images and other external content in HTML e-mail" security option. This is automatically turned ON in Outlook Express after you install Windows XP/SP2. Solution: Click on Tools -> Options -> Security. Then UNCHECK the "Block images and other external content" check box, and click OK.
Maybe it's not just spelling being the issue, but possibly typing skills or in actuality lack thereof. I type with two fingers in the dark and sometimes hit the wrong keys without knowing it in an effort to post "quikly" (see heres one right here)the letter "c" must have been hit a millisecond after the "k" so it did not register. People here are not morons (well some are) and others dont care about spelling as long as it gets their point "acress" (see theres another one). I can spell across, see. Point made.
My third grade student teacher Miss Tiganni. I was so sure that being a "Miss" that I was definately going to be able to win her affections. Was I naive or what? But I still had a plan to abduct her and make her mine as she was tied up in my basement, hidden under the stairs so my parents wouldnt know.
You said it most colorfully and funniest, but I agree with Dru. I am not Nostradamus, but it seems that our economic future is pretty clear. The stimulous package is like giving someone who is starving a cracker and telling them to save it for tomorrows dinner. It dont work that way. It wont stimulate spending, but it may help someone in ways that we cant conceive. It is a shame but it all leads back to greed.
RE: Should ignorance of the law be a valid excuse?
