RE: CLASSIC AUSSIE MOVIES/SONG'S....

She makes me feel so ill at ease,
My heart is really on its knees.
But I keep a poker face so well,
That even mother couldn't tell.
But my baby's so vain,
She is almost a mirror.
And the sound of her name,
Sends a nervous shiver down my spine,
Down my spine.

And playing my guitar

RE: CLASSIC AUSSIE MOVIES/SONG'S....

I've only ever heard that thing he did with Kylie, Red Right Hand (and it scared me so I ran toward it) and Shivers.

I've been contemplating suicide
but it really doesn't suit my style
So I think I'll just act bored instead
And contain the blood I would have shed

but how cool is that

RE: CLASSIC AUSSIE MOVIES/SONG'S....

Hmmmmmm. OK. I'll be paying him more attention in the future and see if I can't learn a thing or 2.

RE: CLASSIC AUSSIE MOVIES/SONG'S....

He's something of an oddity our Mister Cave. In the aforementioned movie he receives a writers credit for ad libbing his lines as a ranting psychopath.

RE: CLASSIC AUSSIE MOVIES/SONG'S....

That's a Nick Cave song. He's also in the movie I mentioned earlier "Ghosts of the Civil Dead" with David Field.

RE: Wise Wabbets Astrological Chart

RE: CLASSIC AUSSIE MOVIES/SONG'S....

INXS, had most of their albums until someone stole my collection. I find myself becoming a big Cold Chisel fan of late. Is that weird?

RE: CLASSIC AUSSIE MOVIES/SONG'S....

Micheal Keaton, The Castle !!

RE: CLASSIC AUSSIE MOVIES/SONG'S....

Ghosts of the Civil Dead. This movie is brutal to say the least but it's an Aussie cult classic. Stars David Field who was Keith George in Chopper and Acco in Two Hands.

RE: CLASSIC AUSSIE MOVIES/SONG'S....

Meet me down by the jetty landing
Where the the pontoons bump and sway
I see the others reading, standing
As the Manly Ferry cuts its way to Circular Quay
Hear the Captain blow his whistle
So long she's been away
I miss our early morning wrestle
Not a very Happy way to start the day
She don't like That kind of behaviour
She don't like That kind of behaviour

So, throw down your guns
Don't be so reckless
Throw down your guns
Don't be so

Feel like Scott of the Antarctic
Base camp too far away
A Russian sun beneath the Arctic
Burke and Wills and camels
Initials in the tree
She don't like That kind of behaviour
She don't like That kind of behaviour

So, throw down your guns
Don't be so reckless
Throw down your guns
Don't be so

Indeed.hug
