Good luck to your children. If they choose the wrong god they'll be suffering the consequences in the eternal hereafter ! I hope the follow your example.
That actually comes under the heading of Creationism. ie, life on Earth was created by aliens. Begs the question, did the aliens evolve or were they created.
Most body language is more or less involuntary ! So unless you're sitting there impersonating a statue (even then, there's the pose of the statue to take into account)there'll be readable signs of what you're thinking.
I think a lot of those points are true, especially with the eyes and preening, sitting forward on the chair. Putting his arm around you in a cinema means he's not there for the movie and any other touchy feely stuff means, small of the back etc means he wants to rip your clothes off but then, lots of guys just want one thing so be careful how you interpret the signs. A good player will do everything right except stay around !
A thread for anyone who wants to say anything about anything or anyone on this site but to make it interesting you have to give your version of why the chicken crossed the road as well. eg,The ANZAC day thread should not have been a place for arguements. Those arguements could have been here instead!
The chicken crossed the road because it was stapled to the punk rocker who crossed the road.
I think the definitions here are close enough to the mark. You celebrate ANZAC day if you like but I'll commemorate it. And if you've got anything else to say on the matter send me an E-mail.
Settle down, I was refering to the context in which it was used by that Lovecats tool from Tasmania. And in any case, I think commemorate would be a better word to describe what we do on ANZAC day.
commemorate: remember something ceremonially: to honor the memory of somebody or something in a ceremony a service held to commemorate the dead.
And here's the MS Works definition of celebrate: show happiness at something: to show happiness that something good or special has happened by doing such things as eating and drinking together or playing music I told them about my promotion, and we went out to celebrate. a noisy crowd of fans celebrating the victory.
I'd like to add that ANZAC day is not a celebration. There are no bells and whistles, cake cutting or fireworks. It's a day set aside for all to reflect on the horrors that our servicemen and women have endured and to affirm and reaffirm for each generation and the thousands of migrants that come to this country every year that war on any front is always a last resort and it holds no glory. Lest we forget.
but then, he probably was a drug dealer and did rip the other guy off but then again, the drugs were good enough to cause the scenario in th first place !
I was present for the birth of my 3 children and there's nothing like it. It's as emotional as a funeral but in reverse !
Also, playing in a band to a packed venue on new years or at a B&S when you're rockin for about 5 hours and the crowd is just goin off. (Never made it to rock and roll superstardom but had some good times. Does anyone need a good bass player?)
Evolution Vs Creation
This is a popular belief, that spirituality evolved with inteligence.
