I think when you first see someone it is natural to make some kind of judgement based on their appearance. Sometimes a quality person can look like rubbish but if you're an astute judge of character you may still be able to see through that by reading body language etc. In any case it makes sense to then varify your assessement through other means of communication eg. verbal ....duh
My year old daughter marched with her school. I think she was the smallest person in the perade. Her great great grandfather was a light horseman and fought in the middle east. Twicw decorated for venturing into nomansland to retrieve wounded soldiers from the battle field. His brother was wounded in France and actually left for dead by stretcher bearers but he dragged himself back to their trench whilst breathing through a gaping wound in his chest. He convalesced in England for 6 months before he came home. My grandfather fought in egypt in WWII and was bought home to go to New Guinea where he fought on the Kokoda Track. So proud of my little Aussie, marching to commemorate on ANZAC day.
the tests are just to make sure everything is ok. Maybe a problem, maybe not. Better if you know though and the sooner you know, the better. Try not to stress (who am I kidding, it's your child. Ofcourse you're going to stress). But talking might help.......
