not quite, the children "represent" unconditional love but are often refered to as baggage. If you don't want to go out with someone who has children there's nicer ways of putting it.
and it's not my impression that lolshorty was refering to anyone in particular but I could be wrong. You do see the term "baggage" used fairly often when you're looking through profiles.
It's the bond between parents and children, that you love them through anything and vice versa or at least that's how it should work out . Thus anyone who refers to children as baggage refers to unconditional love as baggage. It's reasonably poor form to do so I think. Emotional baggage is different though, like when someone isn't over their last relationship. It's kind of OK to refer to those empotions as baggage.
