I am ex Millitary also and when I see the plight of the returning GI's it breaks my heart I work with a lot of ex Millitary. several that I was working with have taken there own lives. The VA was overwhelmed and they couldn't get the help they needed. I am sorry to say I should have cought the sign"s of one, He talked to me about all the problems he was haveing at home . He had recieved a phone call form his Wife saying she couldn't take any more and was leaving him. we talked for quite some time after he left he went home got his gun and went to a Boat Launch and ended his life . He told me when He left he was going to get some help. Then to see all the senior citizens that are now starting to get very scared . I talked to one Lady nearly 100 years old she has spent her savings and rely's on social security Her daughter won't let her near the news when she haerd about social security failing she started crying. He daughter is also on social security. It is getting very serious whit these people now
I will likely never see social security but what I have seen is very bad . In Michagan there is talk of elderly living on dog food because they can't affor to buy proper food. As far as haveing to many priorities our eldrly should be our Priority. I don't want to get into what I believe about Mr Obama'a priorities. In life you talkle one problem at a time defeat it then move to the next not open up five diffrent fires to put out all at once .
How true your statement is . It hurts me to think of all the senior citizens that haft to take a Back seat to some forein dictator . A war in afganistan . Healthcare reform .some Bankers that won't even report where they embezzeled all the money to. Or a car Maker. These are our most precious and Loved group of people in our country and we treat them like dirt .
I have found as in life there are good people and there are people with Problems that try Make there problems My problem . I have found some very suportive people in here.I have also found some that can only find fault with everything and everyone. sometime people attach themself to someone else just because they feel they need to try to bring them down to there level I can't speak for othere people here but you are more than welcome and I will enjoy talking with you anythime . You haft to be careful in this case You don't want obsession turning into anger. maybe he just doesn't realize that she doesn't want him around . You should go with her as support and let her explain it to him , If you think he is not getting the message let him know that if it does not stop you will report him.
It is Just Human nature!!!!When you thought it was you running the show you were fine with it. It is human nature to want what we can't have then after we get it we can't or don't apprechiate it. After time things would be back to what it was before he left . I'm just trying to help I am not trying to be mean. One thing with life is we learn from every experience. we should all way's try to treat people right. be upfront and say I don't want you here then when they come back they realize you just wanted some time , Not that you were mean and hurting . Another man is not the answer you need to close this relationship before you can move on . When there has been a close relationship there will alway's be feelings. Now some times your head hast to over ride your heart. For instance your heart will tell you to stay with a person that is an abuser when your mind knows he will never change and you could be killed . Find somthing to keep you occupied find a friend that you enjoy being around . Very good Idea WOW we agree on somthing is the skyfalling . I do wish they would tackle the problem or our elderly our most precious resource first they have already said that they will not give them a cost of living raise. and Social security will be broke in three years I wish they would do somthing to help on both ends the health care and the elderly . We give aid to so may forien countries that don't deserve it that could be used to help our own here
Infidelity ,Lyeing . dishonesty > are not just republican,, both these party's are just as guilty. the problem is they feel total distain for the american people not careing about what anyone feels . If this would have happened thirty years ago they would have been physicly thrown out of washington. You can't tell your kids to use any of these politictions for a roll model .
