RE: Installing your husband

It never fails to amaze and sadden me when I feel the hurt comming accross from people that have spent time in relationships that seem to have turned into competitions and end up doing more harm than good, if I had a uro for every profile that I've read where the damage someone has sustained from a previous relationship was one of the main focusses I'd be very rich. One thing we might all do well to remember is that there are many many good relationships out there where people do put their partners needs and wishes first, that don't end in a bitter break up, we're just unlikely to hear of them here, that's all.

RE: Installing your husband

New systems these days vary so much, last time (only time)I upgraded there was such a common focus on survival that a lot of these issues just didn't apply.
Now the focus for most of us seems to be finding the right "guoey" to match our antiquated systems, in these days when personal fulfilment seems to have taken over from loving relationship as the goal that is meant to make one happy, too late in life it seems that people realize it's hard to cuddle personal fulfillment in bed at night or feel the closeness as you let the diamonds warm their feet on you, I have heard of talking to flowers but they don't really give great conversation on the settee in the evening.

That's the most lovely thoughtful thing I've seen on here, why isn't he there?, working away? nothing bad I hope.

RE: Lies Lies Lies!

Hey!! this happened to me too!!! and as we had arranged to meet for lunch we had opportunity to talk as we ate, she asked me did you recognise me from my picture? (because I'm honest without thinking about it) I replied straight away "NO" (if she hadn't been standing where we arranged to meet I'd have walked straight past) but she looked so crest fallen that I hurriedly added "your hair is very different than your picture".
Phew.... no lie on my part, just tact, but there was no second meeting, lies don't work!
