I agree with all that, also I believe the old saying "a little of what you fancy does you good" (just can't seem to get the ladies to come close enough to take part, lol) exesses can be where it all goes wrong for some.
very good point and what about stress levels? I knew someone who lived next to a quarry and was very stressed over it.....I'm not going to tellyou what happened next but it wasn't pleasant!
Yesterday at around 5.00pm in waterloo rd in ballsbridge, dublin, a tree fell on a 45yr old lady who was killed by it. this is definately a form of "early demise" by anyones standards and has absolutely nothing to do with what she ate or how she exercised.
if you need more evidence about how wrong you are you can google it.
you say that "not intended to dictate....." I'll accept that but intentionally or otherwise that's exactly what you were trying to do and you were rude to me (calling me dumb and obese, when I pointed out that yours wasn't the only point of view and that if people led an active enough lifestyle the gym would be redundant.
rubbish again, how many people who died of cancer were fit and healthy before they got ill? how many people who died on the roads in car wrecks were fit and healthy? "early demise" can be caused by a whole range of things" you are using one small part of the statistics to beat people with and it's not right.
My initial reaction to the post was that if people have energy to burn it makes more sense to do something usefull with it. That is what used to happen years ago when life was more labour intensive with less machines doing the work.
If you want to know something that's immature and quite ridiculous go back and read your quotes from my last postings. Calling someone obese without any basis to judge seems to fit the bill as far as I'm concerned and if you want another of my opinions some people would do better to spend a little more time working on their personality problems.
you go girl! and while you're at it tell him about the unwritten law that says we men can't remember more than three birthdays....and one of them is our own.....aniversarys?...nada.....where we keep our clean underwear and socks? what happened to the screwdriver we were using last night? and what about those forms we were supposed to have filled in?
early demise isn't related to how much time and energy we waste in a gym rather than taking exercise that actualy benefits someone or something other than ourselves, many people out there have passed away from causes beyond their control such as disease, accidents etc; I object to being called dumb for my views and I am definately NOT OBESE. Whether my demise will be early or not remains to be seen and as far as either of us can see you have as much chance of going first! I live a healthy(?) physical lifestyle working and walking and running on my farm, I can lift wieghts jump gates and many other activities that a lot of other people cannot do, I regularly out-work people half my age and am happy to do it. Just because I've never been into a gym or lifted a barbell in my life does not make me fat or unfit.
ok perhaps that wasn't a great example of what I was trying to say and I stand corrected but I do like a lady to be, act and feel like a lady....and be treated like one. as for the work issue a job is a job and anyone who does it should be paid the apropriate amount whatever their gender. no difference.
as for the couples... my wife had skills that I didn't and I have skills that she didn't we each did what we could and sometimes where we had an overlap (like cooking etc) we could each do whatever we had time for.
I have to admit I'm not any expert in dateing, I see other people going out with someone new all the time and I don't wonder that they find it expensive, they can't possibly think that each end every one is their potential partner, more like treating it as a sport, different strokes for different folks I suppose but it wouldn't suit me.
well it's my experience that if someone is tight with money they lack generosity in other areas too unless it's of necessity, I can't handle the mean spirited or "takers" of this world. A walk on the beach has it's own merrits but so does a nice meal and a drink in clean pleasant surroundings after.
I always think that people who have to specifically set aside time to exercise, unless that's their hobby, for their health don't lead a healthy active enough lifestyle. Even if one works at a desk in the office there has to be more productive things to do with ones energy than lifting inanimate objects for the sake of it, why not go chop some wood for an old person or something?
