That´s surprising. The gypsies here in Spain, and I´ve been to a couple of gypsy weddings, rarely drink.
I know Boban won´t mind me saying this, but there was a group of gypsy women who I encountered on my way to work every morning when I lived in Poland. They constantly harrassed me for money and when I wouldn´t pay up they castigated me and put a curse on me. Not too sure what the curse was, but it didn´t work...not yet anyway
Ahh, Boban introduced to me to fabulous gypsy music a few years ago, and has always been a favourite of mine here.
His English has improved immensely during the years I´ve known him here. I´m proud of him, as any English teacher would be. I know, that sounds like an end of year student report!
Most of us know who the scammers are, but you´re very kind to offer your screening services to the newer members who may not be so worldly wise in so far as internet dating sites.
And clever too. Your mailbox may well be filled a plenty!
I miss my dad singing naff country and western songs to me when he was driving with me in the passenger seat, just the two of us, and he would have one hand holding mine and the other on the steering wheel. With a relatively big family. at least during the sixties and seventies, I had two brothers and a sister, it didn´t happen very often and my dad was often away in other countries boxing, so our times together were special for me as a little girl.
In fact, the songs he sung to me weren´t naff at the time, but since I became an adult, country and western is the only type of music I really dislike.
Here´s one of my dad´s favourites which I remember well, and I know Conrad will love this.
