Counter Culture people can become more frustrated and violent if their false narrative is not accepted by a present majority, just as violent as counter protestors at a blm protest. A couple years pre-covid and considering my advanced age and the fact that anyone I dated was equally economically stable, most typical dinner dates were Dutch. now Dinner was on whoever suggested a fine dinner date. I like really fine dining so that was usually on me.
