I believe in a no party system !! Where we are headed now is that everybody wants to have their own party , the Latinos are trying to put one together now !! Our country is divided enough already and additional parties will only make it worse !! I was in basic training with a black kid , short , skinny , and one of the sweetest kids you"d ever want to meet . When his name was called it was Nam , I got lucky and went to Germany . I tried to track him down in Chicago on my trips to the east coast with no luck . Finally ten years after Nam ended I found him . As we talked on the phone I could tell that sweet young kid was gone . We talked for awhile but I couldn"t convince him to meet with me . Finally as we spoke our last words he told me he wanted me to remember the way he was and not see what he had become . Even after all these years I still miss you Bobby , and I hope time has been good to you and has helped you find peace !! I"d like to also send a blessing to my late brother-in-law who survived Hamburger Hill , and 18 years in the Illinois coal mines only to die of a stroke !!

Politics As USUAL

The mayor of Omaha , Nebraska is facing a recall vote . Last week his people helping him fight the recall went to a homeless shelter . They paid these people $5.00 to take a survey then provided them a ride to the polls so they could vote against the recall . Of corse the mayor said he knew about the survey but denied any knowledge of hiring homeless people to vote against the recall !! Politics as usual in Omaha , Nebraska !!
