I have thought about visiting Las Vegas in looking for a place to possibly buy a home and live. I have had some good and bad input. Maybe some people that actually have lived there or still do would be so kind to share their experience or ????? Things like the seasons, the water you drink, the general pulse of living there vs the tourism. I am not looking to be a tourist and I don't have any desire to be a gambler. Crime is an issue but is it worse in some places, do they build Basements in the houses there? LOL. That is some of the things that go through my mind. Thanks for sharing.
"Stop draggin' my heart around" Written by: Tom Petty and Mike Campbell
Baby, you'll come knocking on my front door Same old line you used to use before I said yeah well, what am I supposed to do I didn't know what I was getting into
So you've had a little trouble in town Now you're keeping some demon down Stop draggin' my Stop draggin' my Stop draggin' my heart around
It's hard to think about what you've wanted It's hard to think about what you've lost This doesn't have to be the big get even This doesn't have to be anything at all
I know you really want to tell me goodbye I know you really want to be your own girl
Baby, you could never look me in the eye Yeah, you buckle with the weight of the words Stop draggin' my Stop draggin' my Stop draggin' my heart around
There's people running 'round loose in the world Ain't got nothin' better to do Than make a meal of some bright eyed kid You need someone looking after you
I know you really want to tell me goodbye I know you really want to be your own girl
Baby, you could never look me in the eye Yeah, you buckle with the weight of the words Stop draggin' my Stop draggin' my Stop draggin' my heart around Duet version here with two Great Musicians and great band.
"Even the Losers" by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers from the album Damn the Torpedoes released in 1979.
Lyrics: Well, it was nearly all summer we sat on your roof Yeah, we smoked cigarettes and we stared at the moon And I'd show you stars you never could see Baby, it couldn't have been that easy to forget about me
Baby, time means nothing, anything seemed real Yeah, you could kiss like fire and you made me feel Like every word you said was meant to be No, it couldn't have been that easy to forget about me
Baby, even the losers get lucky sometimes Even the losers keep a little bit of pride They get lucky sometimes
Two cars parked on the overpass Rocks hit the water like broken glass I should have known right then it was too good to last God, it's such a drag when you're livin' in the past
Baby, even the losers get lucky sometimes Even the losers keep a little bit of pride They get lucky sometimes
Baby, even the losers get lucky sometimes Even the losers keep a little bit of pride They get lucky sometimes
Baby, even the losers get lucky sometimes Even the losers get lucky sometimes Even the losers get lucky sometimes Even the losers get lucky sometimes Even the losers get lucky sometimes
too funny, almost word for word of those South Park Goth kids! LOL. Don't mistake, I am sure it is your own words but that is what makes it that much funnier!!
I started with one ear pierced about 40 years ago. I added just a few more later in the years and then went with a bit larger gauge. I don't give it much thought and if I choose I take them out. If I am Sparing in a formal Dojang or competing I would remove all jewelry so I don't lose a body part. Of course there are always going to be people that will never understand these things. Even being a straight hairdresser here on this site in this day and age you would think that would be no big deal. NOPE, there is ignorant people that are from all parts of the world and stereotypes run deep. I doubt that people will ever totally lose the preconceived notions embedded in so very many. So I just say deal with it. But these fotos that I have seen posted here are obviously ultra extreme and the tribal deal on the one. If I worried about the way people thought I should be, or my hair length, then I would have no backbone. I am who I am and those that don't care for it or judge me because of it I would see as pretty shallow. But some live and let live without whispering in the background, some can't help themselves, and that in itself is quite ugly in my opinion.
And remember to bring a towel. And some cats are not as innocent as they seem. If you spray your cat with a mix of 2 tablespoons of white vinegar and 2 cups water you can usually get the stain out. If you want to add a "fizzing" agent just open a box of Sodium Bicarbonate and add a few teaspoons.
I did not know the issue was rearing it's head on the tv programs like that.
$500: William McKinley $1,000: Grover Cleveland $5,000: James Madison $10,000: Salmon P. Chase $100,000: Woodrow Wilson ( This is the way it should still be )
I know that when they took the larger denomination currencies out of circulation by 1969 and it was a process over quite some years. I think it is odd that where the Dollar is worth less that you have to really carry a large wallet or suitcase to have cash, It is control over cash business. I remember my Mother attempting to buy a car with cash like my stepfather always did and they explained that it was not possible here in Oregon any more. At least not over a certain amount. Just the feds taking note of who has what and where it goes. I also agree that taking care of our own money and property should not be any bodies business but our own nor make us a criminal. Good point Rohaan.
Funny you ask! I just had 2 pieces for breakfast, lol. I had some hot sauce on it, and it was a three meat pizza with cheese , Mushrooms, Olives and lots more.
Happy Birthday Annoying. I wish you all the very best! And, I want to say that you have never Annoyed me, not in a bad way, LOL. But you have always been a very good and friendly Young Lady to talk with and I just wish I could deliver your present in person.
Hi Tom, I truly know nothing except the very small part I read concerning the Italian Justice. I did not mean to come on too strong. I think my main point to some readers was to make sure they saw that it was not a USA court. I have to admit that if I had been somewhere and already went through all that and then came home after they said it was ok....well I would not be so eager to return. It is not something that I had followed at the time it happened so I was just reading what I could find about it now since this thread. Cheers.
you know Tom, the crazy thing is that there is also a lot of wild cards that don't even make sense. I was a witness for a mother , a close relative of mine. The father a deadbeat and sadly the judge that was appointed for the last 10 plus years that is known for having a special place in her heart for her own. Simply buried the mother and hit her with a 50,000 debt to be paid to the father. They were never even married and because no one got things like loans from my family to this deadbeat it was hearsay. He even did it to one if not two woman after that and had another child. omg, you would be a happy man to kick this one square in the yarbles. At the end of every hearing that judge, still residing and she has teeth. She states for and to the record that no one shall move or attempt to challenge her ownership of this case. It is amazing. Quite sad when you see it first hand. This is totally ont of the norm though. If I did not know better I would think there was some strange jealousy thing going on but if there is than wow, that is just a passing thing. No personal contact whatsoever.
