You can pray for strength to deal with the problems, but it takes two people to heal a relationship. If one does not do his/her part, sometimes the other needs to leave or alter the relationship. Easy to say, hard to do.

I guess you need to think if you are important enough, after all, the innocent children who die needlessly were not saved, the families ripped apart by "natural" disasters were not saved, so unless you have recently paid a large donation to the Pope it is unlikely you god or anyone elses will notice you.
A far better way to overcome your sadness is to get up, and do something constructive with your life, make a positive difference in someone elses life and you will feel better inside and the misery will fade away.

In a way it might do. So long as you're pleading with God (and not your boyfriend) for the relationship to work then you're not doing any damage to the relationship.

Been there and done that. Does he feel miserable? Is it one sided? If it is, usually, you may make up. But will breakup again.
It's simple, does he make you laugh or make you cry? If he makes you cry, you are not with the right guy.
It's better to go through the steps of getting over him. Then you can move on and be with a guy who cares for you.

Gods plans are not always ours, just have fun in life and enjoy the people who matter, if someone makes you sad all the time move on and find someone who makes you happy and who makes you feel whole.
