When I joined the US Marines I took an oath to defend my counrty from enemies without and within.
If these people legally build something on their own property then I'm ok w/ it....no matter who they are. Now if they act up and do something wrong(illegal) then I'd act if need be. On the other hand..if some fool attacked them I'd act if need be.
Islam is an archaic religion...they all are - and is no worse in the end than any other - loss of self. Religion is for those that are too weak to live w/ a spiritial crutch. If we'd focus self and community we would not need religions.
So - I'm done w/ religious bickering......and back my fellow citizens in building whatever dreams they have .....even Islam - unless they encroach upon our liberties.
My point is that it was 200 years of murder by religios fools on both sides....and Christians had no biz doing anything other than turning cheek as Jesus told 'em to.

Ah...love it when people take things out of context to support there weak arguments(the website link). Of course there is violence in the Koran...wars are violent - including Jewish and Christian wars. It is dangerous to pick and choose single lines (verses - ayat) to make a point when context clarifies.
Let me try one: I Corinthians 3:16: "Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are."
Supposedly, smoking defiles the temple of God, and for this God will destroy you.
In context this passage concerns the body of Christ (the Church) and the defilement is the divisions among them (such as the faction ostracizing some poor fellow-Christian for smoking tobacco?).
My point is that people who love to chose a side first and THEN agree w/ crap thrown out by others is in no position to debate.
Because I love to be fair I've tried (and gladly have failed) to find one such small shred of evidence......I'm open to FACTS - not BS theory. My volleyball teammates were always pissed b/c I'd call the ball IN when they(we) missed it....fair is fair...I don't wanna "win" if I cheated.....
Since there is no way to prove prayer any more than god......we can't know if it does anything or not. Believing is not the same as knowing.....just isn't - even if you believe it is.
