This should be a consideration before mssging back and forth. Seems harsh, but it is a consideration to be made.
With that...it is just one of those things that has to be discussed until there is a compromise or it just doesn't work. I know...I've been through it.
Never saw anything liked that, but while in a third world country I was walking up a stairwell in the dark (no lights) and I missed a step....got that feeling when you know you are going to fall - then felt "something" push me from behind just enough to keep balance.
It kinda seems intangible. I am not religious, but believe in a Creator and that a man's respect for women is something that is put into us men. As each person knows right and wrong - men know that they should respect women.....so it is a matter of choice. I am pretty sure there will be posters that disagree(mostly men maybe) but this is how I honestly see it.
As I swore to protect our great nation from even domestic threats I'd sometimes like to give them a few rounds of lead too, but the law of the land says not to.....so I'm bound.
Recall the scene in A Few Good Men where the commander of the base makes it clear that he has a job to do. Freedom ain't free. So if it gets the war done with while saving life and liberty.....so be it ....and those that don't like it can look the other way....go do some of that nice stuff you are free to do and is paid for in blood.
We do not go out to die for our contry, but to make them die for theirs if they must.
I was in the Marines and won't preach that it's wrong.....because winning is what matters....the methods don't. I'm not talking about bombing schools and such, but treatment of the enemy combatant means nothing to me.....b/c they would do it to us - so better them than us.
Most people sit on the sidelines and talk a good talk, but rely on us to keep them safe and free - and we should do what it takes. Civility is is worthless if you are defeated.
RE: Is it ok to drive and listen to headphones?
It's stupid....and more so on a bike.
