I first used FB to locate a guy that I sold a car to and he ran off. Since then I've found tons of old friends and reconnected with family not seen....some for over 20yrs.
Some say Israel has nukes....but if they don't and get them.....where will they be placed/stored? The country is not all that big and if they were or will be installed I'd think someone woulda seen the event. If they are stored outside of the borders then that's another set of problems. Maybe they don't actually have any, but certain nations have "given" them "use" of a certainn number to be launched or sent from the hosts lands or vessels
My 3 kids are in Japan and the opposite side of the US from me, my brother is only 2 hrs away and my sister lives half the country away, but will stop by. I'm visiting my mom and will spend Christmas with her and the woman I'd like to be w/ lives in another country.
People....that's what matters to me.
While the holiday seems to become less religious and more commercial it does still seem to focus on family for many.
My friends dad flew P-38's over Europe and had films. He had them put to video tape in the 1980's and we all gathered around a new-at-the-time bigscreen TV at a local store and watched them.....awesome!
