Gateway to Dreams

Dazed and confused I stand in the front without a clue,
Even as everyone around is taking their leaps as if they flew.
Placing themselves into their dream situation while I stare,
Since it seems that what I enjoy most has no fruit to bare.
My heart in pain as my eyes water while the rest step through,
Unable to take the next step since I find nowhere to step to.
Looking around as everyone finds themselves with a goal on their path,
Yet for me it seems I'm adding things wrong in life's math

A poem to my future special someone

You'd understand if I told you I had drove the mars rover,
Simply to find my one true love but now that search is over.
I have fallen a few times but most of the time it led to ache,
Except you must be a doctor cause you've healed my past heartbreak.
You got the beauty to behold and the wisdom of a genius,
However no one but us could possibly achieve this.
I miss you when your gone and hug you with might.
You will never find someone better because I love you day and night.

Right Kind of People

They look at me as I can do wrong in their eyes,
Even if I fail on the first thousand tries.
I struggle to catch myself when I slip from the heights,
Only so they can potray me differently in their sights.
So even as I fail my spirits may be lifted for the next try,
Cause on their held breath I can fly.
No matter what I fail in I can always pass any test,
For in the eyes of your loved ones you are better than the rest

Cross of Burden

All of man bares a symbolic cross from which they carry,
No matter the length of the voyage or how scary.
We strive for an individuality that exists under the hollywood light,
For our everyday struggle brings us closer to the peaceful night.
Our dedication and passion make us special and unique,
Whether we pray in church or try to clear thoughts with a drink.
Our crosses may not be visual but does exist beyond our life's lease,
Its up to us to enjoy each line of our created masterpiece.

Unsteady Floor

I sit in my chair of what I can currently call my situation,
Even as the aspect tiles all around provide no balance for creation.
A change each day places some in reach while others completely out,
Leaving me open for change even when the mysterious is stout.
My family on the other side of the floor trying to wave over,
Trying to whistle me across as they change my name to rover.
The tiles rise and fall certainly no clue when they'll stop,
Cause one false move could lead me into a nasty drop.

I'm never alone now

One morning everything about me changed,
More than usual even as my feelings greatly changed.
Felt alone in my mind and heart as things had gone bad,
Never felt close to happy since I always felt sad.
Until I laid up on my bed when suddenly god entered my mind,
Releasing me from those suffocating emotional binds.
Sending me to his building where the tears flowed out like memories,
Removing the bad like making distant tales from the recent stories

A.N.B(all-natural beauty)

Inside of this club with all of them donned out with looks,
Not my place to find the one who they call the love interest in books.
Quickly go outside to find myself sitting by the side as I dream,
Feeling left out of this loveable team.
Even as I let out a silent prayer the bass from outside waves the air,
When suddenly my eyes erupt as a beauty that catches me in a stare.
Nothing fancy compared to most just beautiful like a pearl.
No make up on her face rather she is an all natural girl.

Soul vs Heart

Even as the time ticks away at the clock to punch out,
I still feel like my brain and heart are fighting a bout.
In a position where I have never been yet no smile,
Just another worker in a employer's file.
My soul screams for something more I guess me,
Yet my mind can't figure how to get past this greenish sea.
Trapped in a role to dispense false cures for my patients,
Yet my heart bleeds out my pores as it loses patience.

My horror love story

Sitting at a table alone for two when my jaw drops to the floor,
Someone who could be the one to press my heart's restore.
Yet my throat shuts and I freeze with hesitation,
So she walks right by cause I dropped the ball on dedication.
My head drops as my failure of love past return with a fire,
Burning more holes in my heart like a nails on a tire.
I rise out with my head down as I walk out the door without a notice,
Walking out of a cleared mind as things return out of focus

To far away to help

My back rests as I can hear her tears from the words she wrote,
It's like I'm standing on the other side as her tears get to promote.
She tells me he texted it and all I can do is pray to heal her pain,
I know what it's like especially when I see my own heart with a stain.
She tells me it was him and yet all I can do is write her back,
Telling her it will be okay and that sometimes guys don't know jack.
Love comes and goes believe me I tell her so just relax,
Anyone can step back you just need to go on without any side tracks

Prisoner of the Chill

The room mirrors the owner cold as ice,
Nothing to salvage cause no item would suffice.
He sits against the wall facing the frozen bars,
His heart behind them held back like what a red light does to cars.
Eyes bluer than usual from the stare even while his hand shakes,
Above the hammer which he planned to use after he debated the stakes.
His blood slows as his empty chest relaxes leaving him still,
Unable to shake the thoughts as it weighs heavily on his will.

Moment of Love

When all the beats of a heart are in sync,
Even when you can say a thousand words with a wink.
Trying to place your heart into anothers hand is never criminal,
But it never enters a thought so subliminal.
Until you find yourself with another in a darkened sky,
After both of you release a deep sigh.
When your in love time freezes with a kiss,
So enjoy the good times and always reminisce.
