no show of feeling
no show of emotions

i don't possess them
i don't need them

feelings lie
feelings hurt

the heart is black
the heart is broken

no love to be given
no love to be taken

is it survival
is it death

no answer to questions
no questions to answer

worth living the life
or life worth living?

will you wrap your arms around me
will you touch my lips with yours
will you see the dreams I have
will you meet me there

say you feel the way I do
say you missed me as I did you
say you long to hold me too
say you know I am for you

would you be there through tough times
would you stand here by my side
would you love me as I love you
would you hold me all night through

are you open for something true
are you longing for me too
are you ready for my love for you
are you crazy about me too

I walked in your shoes many years ago
I know it is an impossible win
you are my flesh and blood and so
you need to know its not a sin

I walked it alone many years past
but you have me...don't ever forget
decisions can't be made too fast
years from now you might regret

I love you so with all my heart
I don't want...can't see you fall
It is your life also I am a part
please do what's right for all

my heart is with you
whatever you do
we will make it through
please know
I will always love you!

love can be sad
why love at all
it can be so confusing
it can make you fall
deep in to an abyss

then there you are
how will you get out
feelings are intruding
cry out loud

you claw your way up
out the slippery slope
you try to forget
who will throw you a rope

there is nobody there
the heart is so hurt
the brain on lockdown
don't say a word

make your peace
with the love that's gone
there will be another
but never like the one

count your losses
pick yourself up
mend the heart that's broken
get out of this rut

it will be all better
in no time you'll see
don't fall in love again
tears will set you free

I don't get it
whats the problem
just be honest
don't avoid
friends or lovers
no one knows

when I see you
all is perfect
when I'm gone
you are neutral
unanswered questions

am I in the wings
waiting for a wave
am I on a string
begging for a tug
playing it cool

time to clear
the air we breath
so we can live
without all pain
no hurting heart
feeling free

memory's of us
frozen in time
in my heart
in my mind

warm summer days
hot summer nights
only you and I
and the stars in the sky

I was happy
thought you were too
yet something happened
between me and you

you touched my soul
with your beautiful mind
you touched my skin
new pleasures we'd find

the summer is gone
the peacefulness too
i wish I could find
a way back to you

It is not easy to be without you
but I know this is what I have to do

yet sometimes I'm lonely and think
is it worth it?

finding myself is hard, very hard
I was lost for too long

now I am walking the path alone
someday perhaps the path leads back

I miss your guidance
your humor and quirks

Just so you know
I am a beautiful lady

mind and soul
worth waiting for

for all the things you do for me
everything you already taught me
and everything you will still teach me

for standing by me in a time of need
for lending me a shoulder to cry on
and standing your ground with me

for always letting me be me
and pushing when I need a push
for making me see things in a different light

for laughing at my weird sense of humor
and for having a wicked one yourself
for being silly and crazy with me

for opening my eyes to things I never seen before
and for sharing your thoughts with me
for giving me your knowledge and wisdom

for being a good man and not wavering from your path
and showing me what a man should be
for your honesty and chivalry

for showing me a kind of love I never experienced
and last but certainly not least
thank you for you being you.

we really never got along
when we were young you rejected me
we really never acted like sisters
for what happened when you neglected me
I never forgave you
until now

I realize you were young yourself
you wanted to play with your friends
it was not your fault, I didn't know
I need to make amends
forty years wasted
until now

please know I've forgiven you
you are very ill, your heart stood still
just for a moment
you are in a coma again
I didn't know I love you

I will pray for you
and for another chance to be a sister
close like sisters should be
I hope we will be able to
I didn't know I would miss you
until now

I shouldn't call you my baby girl
but that is what you are to me
with a strong head full of curl
you were wild as a tomboy should be

you were always curious about life
I taught you as best as I could
about people, love, and like
values, morals and respect
religion and riding a bike

I let you get away with a lot
too much trust I admit
hoping you would decide like you should
still knowing I couldn't count on it

I don't like the life that you're living
and I will tell you whenever we talk
just look around at what you are missing
clear your head girl go for a walk

now you don't answer my text nor my call
I have to let you grow up on your own
cannot be there to pick you up when you fall
I just hope you won't be alone

we all have to make our own mistakes
everything happens for a reason right?
life lessons learned whatever it takes
you need to fight your own fight

I wish I could hold and protect you
like I did when you were younger
you a big girl you know what I taught you
and when the time is right you'll remember

all this beauty around me
the forest, the lakes
the small hamlets
it makes me feel a real
appreciation

breathing in deep
there is no poison in the air
just a fresh clean smell
of grass, flowers, trees
I am lucky

I remind myself every day
"this is why I am here"
because of the beauty
of this part of the world

even the winter has its charm
the icicles on the branches
of tall trees
fresh, clean snow

the people who are from here
do they even know?
