What does your handwriting say about you?

Are you an outgoing, sceptical people pleaser? Or an arrogant, practical person who has a tendency to lie?

According to research from the National Pen Company in the U.S., your handwriting can give away clues about 5,000 different personality traits based on the way you space your letters, how you sign your name, and even how you connect the letter 'o' and 's' to other letters in a word.

It can even be used to identify potential health problems including schizophrenia, high blood pressure as well as how much energy you have.

Nine Lessons in Wealth-Building

Just some advice to all those wanna be Millionaires.

Lesson #1: Income Does Not Equal Wealth
Yes, higher-income households tend to have more wealth than lower- and middle-income households. But the size of a paycheck explains only approximately 30% of the variation of wealth among households. What really matters is how much of the income is invested. On average, millionaires invest nearly 20% of their income.

Lesson #2: Work That Budget
The majority of millionaires have a budget. Of those who don’t, they have what the authors called “an artificial economic environment of scarcity,” more commonly known as “pay yourself first.” In other words, they invest a good chunk of their income before they can spend any of it.

Lesson #3: Know Where Your Dough Doth Go
Similar to the previous point, almost two-thirds of millionaires can answer “yes” to this question: “Do you know how much your family spends each year for food, clothing, and shelter?” In contrast, only 35% of high-income non-millionaires answered yes to this question. Millionaires are more likely to track their spending.

Lesson #4: Know Where You Want Your Dough to Go
Another two-thirds of millionaires answered in the affirmative to this question: “Do you have a clearly defined set of daily, weekly, monthly, annual, and lifetime goals?”

Lesson #5: Time Is Money
All this budgeting and goaling takes time, but millionaires are willing to spend it. Prodigious accumulators of wealth spend nearly twice as many hours per month planning their investments as under accumulators of wealth.

Lesson #6: Love the Home You’re With
Your choice of home — and how often you choose a new one — will determine your ability to accumulate wealth. According to The Millionaire Next Door, that wealthy family has been next door for quite a while. Half of millionaires have lived in the same house for more than 20 years.

Lesson #7: Love the Spouse You’re With
The majority of wealthy people are married and stay married to the same person. Of course, marriage shouldn’t be just about money. We’re sure that 24-year-old Crystal Harris has other reasons for being engaged to 84-year-old Hugh Hefner; perhaps she loves his pipe. But several studies have shown that people who are married accumulate more wealth than those who are single or divorced.

Lesson #8: Don’t Drive Away Your Wealth
The majority of millionaires own their cars, rather than lease. Approximately a quarter have a current-year model, but another quarter drive a car that is four years old or older. More than a third tend to buy used vehicles. What is the most popular car maker among millionaires, according to Stop Acting Rich? Toyota.

Lesson #9: The Rich Are Different — They’re Happier
At this point, you might be wondering whether all this living below your means is worth it. Sure, millionaires having bigger portfolios — but are they happier? Danko and Stanley’s research indicates that they are. According to their research, “Financially independent people are happier than those in their same income/age cohort who are not financially secure.”

Dreams of Ideal Gifts and Wishes. Dreams CAN come

Inspired by Momo's blog.

Said Me.

Seeing that this is the season to be merry etc. what would your perfect gift to someone special be? This blog is meant purely for fun, so you can go over-board to an extent.

Give or receive love?

Secondly what would you really like to receive as a perfect gift with no holds barred on extravagance etc. This is after-all just semi-realistic dreams.

You ask me what I want
You ask me what I need
It's nothing you can buy
My heart's not ruled by greed

I don't love a diamond
Diamond's you see through
I want you to hold me
I want you to be true

Welcome to the world's nicest prison By John D. Su

Jan Petter Vala, who is serving a prison sentence for murder, has hands the size of dinner plates and shoulders like those of an ox. In an alcoholic rage, he used his brutish strength to strangle his girlfriend to death a few years ago.

There's a beach where prisoners sunbathe in the summer, plenty of good fishing spots, a sauna and tennis courts. Horses roam gravel roads. Some of the 115 prisoners here -- all men and serving time for murder, rape and trafficking heroin, among other crimes -- stay in wooden cottages, painted cheery red.

When you ask the cook what's for dinner, he offers up menu choices like "fish balls with white sauce, with shrimps" and "everything from chicken con carne to salmon."

Plenty of people would pay to vacation in a place like this.

There are few rules here. Prisoners can have TVs in their rooms, provided they bring them from "outside" when they're sentenced. They wear whatever clothes they want: jeans, T-shirts. One man had a sweater with pink-and-gray horizontal stripes, but that's as close as it got to the jailbird look. Even guards aren't dressed in uniform, which makes conducting interviews tricky. It's impossible to tell an officer from a drug trafficker.

After we hit Fort Knox this is where I want to spend my 'Time'.

Then back to the same old news in SA...

Bloemfontein - A 15-year-old schoolboy is expected to appear in Sasolburg Magistrate’s Court soon after shooting a teacher at his school, police said on Friday.

Sergeant Sellwane Mapamela said the incident occurred at around 10:45.

"This morning, a 15-year-old boy was chasing three other pupils at school. He was stopped by the deputy principal, asking him why he was chasing them," Mapamela said.

"During this questioning, the boy pulled a pistol from behind his back but a shot did not go off."

Mapamela said the boy then ran away. Two teachers followed and tried to disarm him. During the scuffle, a shot went off, hitting one of the teachers in the right lower leg.

Life is short.

Life is too short to complain about the petty things in ones life that annoys.

So even if I do things that go against your grain like, telling lies, cussing, trying to have the most commented on blogs or just being plain irritable, just pass me by.

No one has forced you to read this and I for one wont give you a prize for being a bear with chronic toothache.

Live and let live.

How 'Lucky' can one get?

This is a blog about pure luck.

A young lady that I'm aquainted with was shot in her chest on Friday night (13th) with a .38 revolver. The bullet entered her upper chest passed thru her body without touching any organ or artery. She was rushed to hospital and after a checkup was told they were keeping her there for observation. This morning (16th) she was told that she could go home but had to take it easy for the next week. I asked her why would someone want to shoot her as she is a very petite and dainty young girl. She just laughed and said she was at the wrong place at the wrong time...

I did'nt believe her story at first and call a friend working in Admin at that specific hospital to find out if it were true, and yes it was confirmed.

Talk about luck!!doh
