You cannot multiply wealth

"You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for. That my dear friend is about the end of any nation. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it"

House Arrest

Here in SA 'House arrest' refers to that portion of the day/night when the probationer does not work and is compelled to be at home. I'm just thinking about the probationer that does not have a job to go to and stays at home 24/7.

I guess thats the ideal time for such a person to join CS and be online most of the time.

But will such a probationer be honest about his situation or merely lie about it?dunno

In a recent interview..

former Springbok lock forward and rugby hero Frik du Preez was asked how the bok team from his playing days would shape against the current bok team if a match were possible.. he replied:

“We’d win by at least 10 points”.
The commentator was slightly surprised, and asked; “Only 10 points?”.

Frik replied defensively: “Ja, but you must remember - we’re all in our seventies now!”

Makes perfect sense to melaugh

All Blacks remain rugby's hottest ticket

In South Africa there were 22 000 tickets on public sale for the Test between the resurgent Springboks and All Blacks at the 52 000-capacity Newlands stadium. They took less than 60 minutes to be snapped up by eager fans.

Jamie Roberts, the 93-Test Wales centre and former Lion, said the All Blacks sellout reflected the pulling power of the international game's No 1 side.

"When the All Blacks come to town it's one of the greatest challenges in rugby ... probably the greatest challenge," Roberts said in a WRU media release.

"They are ruthless for 80 minutes, and the skill set of all their players is pretty special. You know you are in for the toughest game of your career. It's unlike anything you have experienced before and, mentally, it's the most challenging."

Cell phone theft - Serious business...

Johannesburg - One person was killed when a man jumped on stage and began shooting at the crowd during a concert at the Hillbrow Theatre in the early hours of Sunday morning, Gauteng police said.

"The suspect jumped onto the stage while a band was performing. He then grabbed a microphone and claimed that he would stop the band unless he got back his stolen cellphone," said police spokesperson Colonel Lungelo Dlamini in a statement.

"When the audience tried to intervene, he fired shots randomly and eight people were shot."

One person was killed and seven were seriously injured. They are being treated in hospital.

The gunman then apparently fled on foot.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.

Kid: Grandma,, what did you do for fun?

Grandma: We baked.

Kid: Yes grandma,,,, but what did you do fo fun?

Grandma: We cooked...

The present generation will say: We went to a theatre and shot at the audience.doh

Honesty on the blogs.

I applaud the blogs.

The blogs are here mainly to get to know the people from all walks of life whether it be bad mouthing Pres. Trump, or the praise and worship of Christianity or Islam or whatever.

Be thankful that this person posted the video of what she is capable of before you actually met her in person. The flip side of that coin would be a very happy farmer (or most) knowing that he has met his match

head banger

In some cultures what the lady has done is completely acceptable.
In the African context its normal practice to slit the throat of the goat or cow and thereafter drink the warm blood.

Ritual slaughter is required for the Xhosa's umkhapho ritual. The nature of the animal slaughtered depends on the social status of the person being buried. Oxen may be slaughtered for a very important person, while a goat may be slaughtered for others.

Quick Thinking...

Crime is everywhere.

If you are thinking this might never happen to you then you are living in a dream world.

Now that syndicates and criminals see how soft targets are getting its going to escalate, especially with the influx of people into Europe and else where from war torn countries.

We have adapted to crime to the best of our ability in SA and this keeps one on your toes so to speak.

Take Care.
