starting over at 40 and up
Over the Hill? I think not!!!!
How do you restart your life over at 40+? Well let me tell you... I did it and I am so glad I did. It is exciting and full of missed opportunities to redo all over again. When you put away one part of your life another part starts. I found my dream again and I am living it now at 48. I refound my passion and my dream and I went for it. I had a dream when I was in college to write a book and publish it before I got to old to do it. I not only wrote a book... I wrote and published three romance books and had them published, just this past year proving you are never too old to pursue your dream and fulfill it. I found skills I had had learned a long time ago kicked in like breathing air and fell into place so naturally. A life of unfulfilled dreams and desires can either make you desire them more and more or leave them behind to die a slow painful death. I chose to desire mine and not give up on them and i made them fulfilled. A friend told me I wasn;t able to work anymore but I proved them wrong as well. With a failed marriage, a pair of adorable kids with slight disabilities and a dream and a bad liver , I proved to myself how to beat bad odds and have fun while doing it as well. I not only worked hard at it and delivered the manuscripts two weeks before christmas past this year, but as my publisher said , "Has never been heard of a first time author publishing three books at once all in one year". Quite an accomplishment for a first timer and a small dream I started out with but now have it in my blood baby and ain;t going to stop now. i am on a high roll now and won;t quit until the romance and words dry up and i die. keep your dreams and don;t let them die!!! You are never, never too old to give it a go and you may be surprised at how it turns out!!!!
