Of course, this is just meant to be some comedy...hope we all get a good laugh from it.You could try moving to a country where women aren't educated and know their place, happiness is important and you owe it to yourself to look for a place where you could be happy. There has to be a male paradise out there which is financially dynamic AND successful AND totally male dominated, and women are the gentle background comfort they should be. I mean there must be dozens.

Actually, I'm privileged to have the Shree Stooges telling me where I go wrong. My only problem is that collectively they make up for a large percentage of my comments - of course all negative. I had an aunt like that. My mother used to say that she (my aunt) drank a cup of vinegar every morning just to keep her sour for the day.

The House isn't responsible for foreign policy decisions. However, they do fund the war machine. Over a hundred billion dollars so far to fund the proxy war in Ukraine. Congress is in large part owned by weapons industry contractors there's your problem. They don't care how much global instability it leads to, or how much inflation their constituents are left with, so long as they and their buddies get rich. No speaker currently but McCarthy didn't follow through on promises made and so he was thrown out as per The House Rules he agreed to. They could have voted Jim Jordan as speaker but there were a number of Republican holdouts (the kind I mentioned above who are beholden to the weapons manufacturers). Now there's apparently a backroom secret ballot vote going on to decide who the sole Republican nominee will be this time round. Once again showing complete contempt for their constituents by not doing it transparently, out in the open. It may well happen that a number of Democrats will end up voting to help elect a corrupt Republican like Tom Emmer as Speaker. Then the mask will TRULY be off as to how Washington operates. It's not R Vs D. It's a corrupt uniparty establishment that works in tandem to screw over the people. Wars, inflation, weaponization of government. They feel zero responsibility to the people who elected them.
