RE: Before January 6th 2021

Blog rule number 13:
"Images and YouTube videos require text to be written along with them. Your opinion or reason for adding them to your blog must be clearly stated. Enter only 1 image or video per blog entry."

So what is your opinion and how is this video relating to your opinion?
To me it seems your only opinion is that you like the video. So is that a blog according to the rules?
It's not a blog nor an opinion. It's smearing of a public figure and that's all.
Hence I'm disappointed.

One last time, what is this "blog" saying jac the gripper?
"Watch the video for the answer" is not an answer,
then you put the cart before the horse.

What many of you do not understand...is that those who say they want to be a sanctuary city..see it differently once they come to their city...It is overwhelming...

Not their problem as long as they keep them in the border cities...

Proof to exonerate themselves...

Let's get a few things clear... I don't hate Trump.

I do think he's a world class con artist. Quite an accomplishment for a bullshitter and it never ends. Trump is so fluent with lies, it's mind boggling. He had a year to get his golf shirts and personal belongings out of the classified documents boxes. Seriously, a billionaire is worried about $400 in junk from his time as president?
The government wants the classified documents. They are all stamped and cataloged. Send them back. He claims to be religious and when asked to recite any passage of the bible, he steered the conversation elsewhere. Why? He doesn't read the bible.

He shouldn't have been allowed to run for president because of all his foreign business dealings. It's amazing how they turned their heads on the vetting process. Clothing from China and Mexico. Don Jr. made it clear when the US banks wouldn't loan them money, it came from wealthy Russian sources. Remember? Paying too much for real estate to essentially launder funds? There are movies about this yet, no one wants to dig deep.

He is a habitual liar and as Chris Christie stated, it's all for himself.

Trump rode the crest of an Obama economy and took credit for it. He doesn't accept his failures and blames others. Yeah, the rich got richer and the market went higher. New technologies where able to get crude from the ground cheaper than before. Did the farmers who lost their soybean crop ever get over China taking the lead?

I remember there were no N-95 masks for COVID? He blamed Obama. Obama left with a detailed booklet of what to maintain in the event of emergency. Trump didn't read it nor did he assign it to someone to follow up. He went on TV blaming the previous administration for leaving the cupboards bare.
It was a known fact the ventilators in storage needed maintenance. If you close that department, no one is there to maintain expensive medical equipment. When they were sent out to hospitals the batteries were dead and they forgot the special carts to hold them at bed height. A fiasco that probably lost lives.

It's always the blame-game with Trump.

Replacing Obamacare with better and cheaper... other than a campaign promise, he didn't have a clue how to implement it. Why did we go back to incandescent light bulbs and toilets that need 3 gallons to flush?
Build a wall? where? Who approved the contractors doing the work? I'll bet 'Mister real estate developer' worked the deals without the eyes of congress approving the contracts. Ya think he got some of that $$ in his pocket?

HEADLINES:
The national debt under former President Trump rose $7.8 trillion amid the tax cuts and spending. It was a crisis even before the COVID-19 pandemic.
Want to talk about this? I don't.

Biden inherited a hot steaming turd. I'm surprised to hear he created new jobs and doing good things to curb inflation. Should he get on TV every month bragging?

When it comes to Biden... I don't care for him, but he was the lesser of 2 evils and America voted him by a narrow margin. It's coming to light how Trump was supported to change the outcome of the 2020 election. It didn't work. It was a lie. People are going to prison. Get over it.

Trump's lawyers are trying to push his court dates into 2026.
What are the chances he won't pay them... and when they leave he will cry to the judges he needs more time to get a new team of lawyers.
MARK MY WORDS on this. There is a very good chance of occurrence.

Neither of us have a crystal ball, but if I had my wishes, that 14th amendment, clause 3 (or whatever it is) would be invoked making Trump ineligible to run for office.
AMERICA doesn't need to go through this hourly drama. Please find someone who reads, has a personality and could be a diplomat that America would be proud of representing the Republican party.

As far as Biden goes... those 'in the know' say he will easily win 2024, with or without Trump.

All the cool memes mean nothing.

RE: Has Trump made himself ineligible for any elected office?

I hear what you're saying about the ceremony.

I hear what you're saying about the 'dancing girls', which if true, demonstrates how steeped in misoyny this institution is.

However, had Trump been allowed to continue his office without being voted in, he would have. The only reason he wasn't capable of executing the duties of the office for a second term was because he wasn't allowed to. That negates your argument that Pelosi could pick the next president due to incapacity.

Finally, if Trump admitted that he lied about election fraud in a bid to overturn the election, he'd fall foul of Section 3 of the 14th Amendment.

Had he genuinely won the 2020 election, but been unlawfully deprived of executing his duties of office, I suspect that the debate would be between whether he could run again and whether he should be reinstated by default with no election necessary. It would then be Biden et al who would be measured against the 14th in the interests of establishing whether he knowingly and unlawfully took office.

As there is no evidence of widespread election fraud in the 2020 election (unless you count Republican lead gerrymandering and other Republican lead underhand methods of disenfranchising voters like disallowing social housing government issued ID impacting poor voters and voters of colour the most), then all of this is moot.

If Trump has done anything for the US, it is in highighting both the fragility and robustness of the democratic system. In the wake of George Floyd's murder there started a paradigm shift which currently involves legally challenging the kind gerrymandering that the likes of DeSantis are still attempting to get away with. It both addresses some of the racial discrimination in the democratic process as well as addressing the deliberately managed skew in favour of the Republicans, thereby plugging some of the the leaky holes of unfairness, inequality and fragility.

I'm not typically one to follow a trend.
I liked the guy since day one, but even more so when it became clear he did a much better job than I and many with me expected. He actually kept promises from his campiagn, can you believe that??! yay
Anyhowsers, criminal - no. The ones who accuse him are teh criminals (to put it short).
A smokescreen of thair own wrongdoings and as an added bonus- the smar is deasigned to keep him out of office so he no longer can try to make Ametica cleaner on behalf of the population. Basically you have misundertood who the criminals are Riz.

About the illegal immigrants, do they need to eat some food and have some shelter?
Who is supposed to pay that?
Can we send the bill to the Mexican cartels who sent them maybe?

RE: Has Trump made himself ineligible for any elected office?

Wouldn't it be better if you had politicians that actually get along with each other Ken ? US politicians just try to sue the arse off one another..

Maybe worth trying to get away from the 2 main party political system, here in NZ we a MMP system which gives room for smaller political parties like the Greens or the tree huggers...

RE: Who made god?

I like this. These are words of wisdom, concise, profound and thought provoking. For me the source is the place to start. It's misleading to start with and remain with the scriptures without first experiencing ones own original thoughts on the subject, otherwise one could become enraptured with someone else's ideology.

@hans, I was distracted by this post so I haven't yet watched your video, apologies.

RE: Has Trump made himself ineligible for any elected office?

Since I don't really wanna say so much more on the topic for a while, I'll repost it once more here at the beginning of page 3.

Well, I'll not go into the whys and I think it's sad but it is what it is.

Basically we are in the after era now, after Trump that is.
Hope it will not be so bad. I have my worries cos now your side (the "winners")
will set the stage. Don't expect too much freedom. Basically don't expact too much of anything, is my advice.

I can not imagine him back no. And if he do, he will most likely be assassinated so it's better he lose the upcoming 'election'- or is hindered somehow.
You know, when the forces against you is that huge sometimes it's better to let go.

With all that said- we will not forget what a great man he was and what he started: a hope for a change to the existing corrupt establishment that screw you, me and anybody in sight.
Somebdoy else will one day have to try and pick up where he left. And if that ever happens (not sure at all sadly) I hope more than half the nation actually will follow the wind of change. They smeared him cos of the threat to them he represented.
And you and many like you fell for it. A pity, but I think it's just as well to accept defeat now. Freedom lost. Prosperity lost too. Ordinary people lost. The winners are the protected classes. I ain't gonna list them but they have more wealth and power than most. And you let them win. It's over, I do believe that.
Welcome to nothing Chat. Some call it business as usual. But I can promise you 1984 has just started.

And good night from me Chat.

RE: Shameful disgraceful behaviour

Funny little world we live in, full of "little" people.
This situation reminds me of the scandal with our MMA fighter Kubrat PUlev and the "journalist" Jenny Sushe he kissed in a euphoria of winning.
She wasn't offended at the moment and took part in the after party.
But soon after she changed her mind.
And nearly ruined his career.

There is an interesting video from the party night in this
Her, sitting on his lap.

Stupid without thinking but with no harm intended, I think that looks pretty obvious but as you've said, the actors are armed, at this stage its all about feeding power now.

Shameful disgraceful behaviour

why not just say trying to be heard?
if you think shouting is not verbal abuse, then our views differ again.

Personally speaking I myself think change will never be effective unless the geese & ganders behaviours are looked upon in the same manner, with no exception of one over the other.
Equality in other words.

No fuss no difference even if it is a tad more disturbing/damaging.

RE: Who made god?

There is no precise definition of 'race' and certainly, there is no biological basis for distinct racial groups.

Having said that, race is a relevant part of social identity that cannot, should not be ignored. Bigotry won't go away if we simply pretend is doesn't exist and history suggests quite the opposite. We'd also be ess interesting and fun.

The word 'race' is, and has been used to signify a number of different groups including Jewish people, particularly where the group belonging has been inherited through the mother's line. I refer to mysellf as racially Jewish for that very reason, although I was raised Catholic and am now non-religious. It's still a part of my heritage.

I respect your self-identity, as I'm sure you respect mine.

In answer to the blog topic, who died and made you god? giggle

Riz can identify as he pleases, when he pleases, how he pleases and to whom he pleases.

It's not his responsibility to avoid offending others' bigotry.

@bcjenny you really turn out to be a nasty racist piece of work, don't you!The word Jew is never mentioned in any form in the profile, so it is you in fact who lies. What gives with your obsession with Jew, Jews, Jewry, Jewishness? Truly creepy.

Has Trump made himself ineligible for any elected office?

I say I am a Republican because when I was 18 and registering to vote I was asked to pick a political party. Different paries have different Primary days they can vote on. I read the published platforms of several and picked Republican. It has no more meaning than what day I can vote in a primary. All parties can vote on a general election day or a Presidential election day. There is no requirement to be loyal to a party or to make donations, although all parties hope everyone donates money to them. Dream on guys.

Trump's deposition in the NY tax evasion case has been released. What it contains is so damning NYS has filed a petition for the judge to rule at once saying no further evidence or testimony is needed and the state seeks an immediate fining of guilty. Weirdly Trump's own attorneys arrived at the same conclusion and filed a petition for a finding of not guilty without further trial. You can watch videos of the deposition or read a transcript of it online. Trump does his best to throw Eric under the bus, but in my opinion fails. We shall see if the judge agrees with me or Trump's attorneys.

It is not stealing an election if the man's name does not even appear on the ballot. The US Constitution is the Supreme Law of the US, so I don't expect a lawsuit complaining a state followed it will get much traction in a US Couurt.

Noting with some amusement watching excerpts from Russian TV 1 that Russia believes getting notorious liar Tucker Carlsosn to interview Putin will both convince the world Putin is a good guy and also ensure their man Trump will get back into the White House. I think we are seeing a dark tower phenomena where the people are so holed up and isolated in their tower that they have no real conception or understanding of events going on around the tower Opium fueled fantasies are viewed by them as realities. They also believe and say that any day now they will destroy and capture Kiev and go on to conquer Berlin and Paris. They are very funny clowns and it must be very sad for the Russian people that everything the clowns say on Russian Federal Television was pre approved by someone up high in the Kremlin.

And to add- there is way to much Republicans who is never Trumpers,
and then one simply lose to the other side way to easy. Like when they stole it in 2020
with the support of such disloyalists.
That my point.

RE: Has Trump made himself ineligible for any elected office?

Not talking about voting mister. Talking about turning a blind eye to voter fraud when asked to. The observers from the Republican side, many of them willing or atleast too weak to protest loud.
It was during covid - so only asking them too lay back... keep teh distnace ..and so thay did.
That's how it happened.
How much push do a Ken or a Chat need to do just that ay'- during the November pressure?
Not a lot, some would even be happy to turn a blind eye. Some would get a few hundered dollars, and some would just get a friendly clap on the shoulder, from the thankful Democrats there.
This is easy to orchistrate cos were talking just a few hundered voting places in the whole nation.
Where it counts.

Some would call the above speculation.

then that uphill battle would have been...well.... less uphilly laugh

Conclusion:
the selfish rhinos threw Trump under the bus when the pressure built up.
I blame them for allowing the theft.

Secondly the supreme court that clearly was worried for their own personal safety,
esp the 6 Republican elected ones.
I can understand that worry, but ... this is not how it should be.. is it.
After that it was irrevocable over.
