Scott Hall, one of 19 defendants charged in the 2020 election interference case in Georgia, reached a plea agreement with prosecutors Friday, making him the first defendant in the case to do so.
Since his charges were a misdemeanor, his plea deal requires him to serve five years of probation, pay a fine of $5,000 and serve 200 hours of community service. A condition of the plea deal requires Hall to testify in any future proceedings.

In an effort to prevent another Trump virus superspreading event,
the Election Commission announced, that the next presidential debate will be done virtually as a Zoom event.
In response Trump stamped his feet, held his breath, pooped his diaper and blurt out,
"no way". He said he would attend a rally that night instead, so he can better stroke his ego and spread the virus to the public.

Trump says he won't participate in next debate after commission announces it will be virtual
By Dan Merica, Kevin Bohn and Chandelis Duster, CNN
Washington (CNN)President Donald Trump said Thursday that he will not participate in the second presidential debate with Joe Biden after the Commission on Presidential Debates said the event will be held virtually in the wake of the President's positive coronavirus diagnosis.
"I am not going to do a virtual debate," Trump said on Fox Business. "I am not going to waste my time on a virtual debate."
Biden's campaign on Thursday swiftly agreed to the virtual format. But Trump's comment throws the debate into question after the commission took the significant step to wholly remake the event. The move was seen as needed by members of the debate commission given the uncertainty around the President's health.
Politically, if Trump skips the debate, he'll be deprived of a platform that he needs at a time when his campaign is trailing in every national poll and in a number of key swing states. The first event was watched by more than 73 million people.
Trump's refusal to join virtual debate shows his fear of not being able to impose his personality on the showdown
Frank Fahrenkopf, head of the debate commission, told CNN that the commission spoke with both campaigns "just before" they announced that the second debate would be held virtually.
"We did not consult with them," he said, adding that their decision is "supported by the Cleveland Clinic," the commission's health advisers.
Trump complained during the interview with Fox that a virtual debate would mean he would have to "sit behind a computer" in a virtual debate and the moderator could "cut you off whenever they want." But a virtual debate is not unprecedented -- the third contest between Richard Nixon and John F. Kennedy in 1960 occurred with both candidates in different locations.
Bill Stepien, Trump's campaign manager, accused the commission on Thursday of "unilaterally canceling an in-person debate" to help Biden and said the President will be holding a rally instead of attending the debate.
The commission said the debate moderator, Steve Scully, and the attendees who will ask Trump and Biden questions will appear from Miami, the original site of the debate.
Election 101
"The second presidential debate will take the form of a town meeting, in which the candidates would participate from separate remote locations," the commission said in a statement about the debate, which is scheduled to be held on October 15 in a town hall format.

Or better yet why do we even read what is on the blog?
I do know that it is only recently where the varieties of what we can read and or write on this section are required to be identified.
It used to be the format only on the poetry but recently it has been added on here.
Anyways, I am so bored tonight and perhaps this will enlighten me a bit.
What about you?
Thanks for all your read and comments.
And may we all have a peaceful and joyful life in the coming year.
Have a nice day and or night fellow citizens of CS, scammers or otherwise.
NOTE: I came across a response that some write just to impress others and show off their other personalities to be noticed???
While I don't ever think of it this way, it is nice to know the many varied reasons we all have.

A teenage girl who was married off when she was 14 is on trial for killing her abusive husband. Stop the barbaric practice of child marriage and save other young women's cruel fate.
The above was the caption on one of the major issues covered on the program.
A friend of mine connected me to a very interesting site that asks global participation on changing some cultural practices of the the world, specifically those that are rather taboo and or outdated. This site is called "FORCED CHANGED". Interestingly, I am already a very active member of the World Human Rights Org. which is based primarily in New York and sanctioned by the United Nations. Most of the programs are very similar but this particular item "Ban Child Marriages" just caught my attention.
I am aware of some cultural practices of the world inherent to where we were born and social values but should we have the right to impose on such practices?
I was born in a country where this practice was so pervasive and it was abolished and changed during the early 1900 upon the arrival of the Western culture. I personally approved and saw the benefit of the change and I am a product of that result which I am grateful for the rest of my life.
Question: Should we campaign and provide our help in this particular case?
Considering our international involvement maybe we can all share our ideas and come up with some enlightenment.
Thank you all for your reads and comments.
You can just feel the excitement as we are about to experience the most popular campaign rally in the history of politics. Well over 1 million Americans requested tickets for a single campaign event!
Compare that with Biden this week who stepped out of his basement for the first time in 3 months whimpering and scared and had about 10 people show up to see him. And he couldn't even put a single coherent sentence together.
Yes a most interesting subject and make's me very curious
On the one hand flowers look beautiful, some smell lovely and they can live for up to two weeks
but on the other hand chocolates taste good
Now ladies if you had the choice of just chocolates or flowers which would you choose
I've been watching this storm shortly after Hurricane Fiona formed. The early predictions and trajectory from the National Hurricane Center all appear to be correct.
Tropical storm Ian will pass to the East of Jamaica on Sunday, cross over the Cayman Islands early Monday as it intensifies to Hurricane strength, strike the Eastern coast of Cuba, strengthen when it reaches the Gulf of Mexico, then hit the West coast of Florida centered around the Tampa area Wednesday.
Florida's sun coast residents, you've got plenty of warning... prepare and don't panic. I've heard reports of long gas lines already.
Governor Ron DeSantis has declared a state of emergency in several counties in preparation of the upcoming storm.
