Internet security and privacy is my speciality.

I spent 4 years in an internet forum learning about internet security and privacy, learning where to get all the best apps and programs for free, I have a media player that can play virtually any format, I also learned a lot about becoming invisible on the internet and doing some things that are regarded as illegal, a good VPN is important especially on sites like facebook because hackers are rife on there, a good VPN is also very good for preventing hackers from getting into your computer, mine gives out a false IP address, I have a paid for version of a good antivirus too, one that I didn't pay for, not trying to brag here but I thought it very important to stay safe on the internet at the time I started learning all this stuff, and I truly beleive I couldn't have been more right about that, the importance of keeping certain files stored on a flash drive is also of major importance, especially in the event of being hacked, gives you the option of being able to replace lost files on your computer after being hacked and the hackers simply can't get at it because it's stored on a flash drive not conected to your computer.

help someone if u can

In my day 1950.s you helped an old lady across the road gave up your seat for a pregnant woman or old person on the bus.
I remember a day a few months ago .I was sitting on my own outside in Silves having a beer .
I noticed a man trying to push a lady in a wheelchair up a ramp and struggling.
Now i,m not in the flush of youth (wrong side of 70) But I thought someone a bit younger will jump up and help him no no one did .
I helped him and got her into his car,
The next day I was in pain with my back.
I travel a lot by bus and train here in portugal and the buses are crowded but the young people don,t give up thier seats any more.

Free will

Whenever it comes to Adam and Eve, we think they did a bad thing because they ate from the Tree of Knowledge, but I would like to propose for a while to try to see things differently. Let's look at this event from a different point of view compared to how we were taught by our predecessors .... I believe that things have happened in a different way, and I will explain how ... God when he created Man (man and woman) left them in the Garden of Eden, all at once God did not give them all knowledge (good and bad) because He wanted to protect us from love for us. God wanted Him to be the one to decide what is good and what is not good for man to protect man from all that is bad, but at one point in time God realized that maybe his decision was not right, and that maybe you should have the right to choose, and so the first and most important choice that God gave to man was to choose, who will decide what is good and what is bad for man. That is, God has given man the right to choose whether God will still decide what is good and what is not for man or whether man will personally choose what is good and what is not for him. Thus God said to man "you can eat from any tree in this garden (if you want me to continue to protect you from bad things and decide what is good and what is not good for you) but do not eat from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, that is the tree of Knowledge (if you choose to eat from that tree then it means that you want yourself to decide for yourself what is good and what is not, you want full freedom and so you will know both good and bad and you will decide what is good and what is not, I will no longer control your life) "Thus Man has decided that he wants his life to be in his own hands and he will decide what is good and what is not. Since then man was given free will, and then God gave man life on earth, we were taught that man was banished from the Garden of Eden but it may not have been precisely so, but that the man chose to live. freely, this freedom came with life on earth, so maybe things are not as they seem. As one old saying goes, "Apparent things are deceptive" God loves man more than people can understand and that is why People do not always understand God's decisions for our own good. thumbs up thumbs up thumbs up angel

Can anyone help, not to beat a dead horse here ---

--- unless the horse votes liberal? Trying to turn over a new leaf in life, and leave my virtue broadcasting righteous anger behind. This controlling female, in our first meeting of the writers' group, also made sexist, ageist and racist remarks. She said, after all in the group read from their favorite authors, "Nice, all dead, white males". And she's not even hot, which as any nearly dead, white male knows, forgives quite a bit, immediately adjudicating the lady as not guilty. I've decided to email the nice fellow with whom I started the group, and say I'm looking for a new one. But I also want to attatch a copy of this posting, just to rub it in a little. To punish her, and vicariously, the world of liberals as well. But I know it's wrong. When I try to ask for Bravo's thoughts on the matter, he just burps, and gets me one of his slobbered toys to play with. Folks around dogs will know that burps are much better than the other end of things. Help.

Shoulda, Kudda, Wooda

It's should've, not "should of". They sound the same so I can see how one might get confused when writing it and especially if English is a second language.

Should've is the contraction for "should have". Same for could've and would've.

There are ways to use it wrong in a sentence.

"John should've that last piece of pie" is wrong.

"John should've thought twice about becoming a grammar expert is correct!

You don't know me, don't judge me

As the description says, this is a tip / urge for each of us and for some this may sound familiar because "you don't know me don't judge me" is and was one of the rapper's favorite quotes called 2pac . Finally, as I wanted to say .... this is a tip / advice for each of us .. we do not judge those around us and I will explain why. There are several reasons why we should not do this and I will list in turn those that I know (I say this because there may be reasons that I do not know so I cannot mention them)
1) No one is perfect, we all have our flaws whether we want to admit it or not
2) If you judge others, one day you will be the one judged by others in your turn, so you will become like them "judged by others" and this is not pleasant at all
3) In order to be able to judge a man, you should first know him 100% as God alone does, I know that maybe some of us believe that we know someone completely but it is not true at all ... and you will find out why ... to know a man 100%, you must first live in his skin and when I say this, I speak seriously ..... to live a full life in his skin to be He / she to feel what he feels he / she thinks in his / her way of thinking, making decisions based on these feelings and thinking ... going through everything he / she has gone through in his / her life ... and only then you could understand why he / she is as he is, why he reacts in a certain way in certain situations and so on.
4) If someone could do these things, and would be able to judge the person in whose skin he / she lived ... he / she would choose not to judge because he / she would understand ...
But because we could not do this, we cannot 100% understand a person so we are not able to judge ... and besides, if we try to judge less and understand more the people around us, ... 1 world would be better .... 2 we could be friendlier .. 3 our children would learn not to judge others but to understand them (children do what they see to their parents and around them, if they see people who will judge .. will they judge, if they see people who are trying to understand the others, they will do the same) If we want a better world for ourselves and our children .... this is one of the steps we have to take let's do "Don't Know Me, Don't Judge Me" handshake cheers

Intelligence "tests", and intelligence(s)...

... . We humans often step into it when we attempt to measure anything about ourselves, and misuse it to direct policy. Enter the Sanford-Binet Tests. A half thousand or so often outdated, and culturally stipulated questions, focussing only on verbal and reconing skills. Bad enough, but even it's theoretical foundations are invalid. AS IF human intelligence is uni- or even mostly bidimensional. There are all sorts of intelligences. Social, emotional, athletic, musical, artistic, strategic, business, even perhaps s*xual, etc. Originally designed to help sort out people for social policy, soon it's uses expanded, nefariously. In world war I, it placed many men into private stripes, thereby squarely into cannon fodder territories. (But subalterns had higher casualty RATES.) And was used to screen many potentially imminently teachable kids into academic backwaters. Slightly improved over the decades, mostly on PC parameters. But still the standard for many, who really should know much better. As always, just follow the dollar for the real truth. Now it's "intelligent" , self driving, autos.

Global Decline of Extreme Poverty

The world's population has reached 7.7 billion and rising.

The good news is, World Bank reported that there is a decline of extreme poverty level from 36 percent down to 11 percent.

I think that is an improvement.

"About half of the world’s countries now have poverty rates below 3 percent, but the report finds that the world as a whole is not on track to achieve the target of less than 3 percent of the world living in extreme poverty by 2030. In the 25 years from 1990 to 2015, the extreme poverty rate dropped an average of a percentage point per year – from nearly 36% to 10%. But the rate dropped only one percentage point in the two years from 2013 to 2015."
