Say A Prayer For Spiderman

You know him as a hero with a heart of gold
But try to understand
When you say your prayers
Say a prayer for spiderman

He wants good to conquer evil
He wants love to be everywhere
And people are happy when he shows up
Cause they know he really cares

Little kids wave when they see him
Grown ups say yes he can
Do most anything yes most anything
Oh how big the heart of spiderman

No matter how strong the web of love
Some prayer is needed too
And you know when he is there
He makes you glad you are you

When you see the sun shinning upon the water
As on the beach you stroll hand in hand
If it wouldn't be to much bother
Say a prayer for spiderman

Beloved of my dreams

Beloved of my dreams
Your love fills the streams
that flow from your channel like honey and cream

Thy fullness and ripeness of
your fruit that glistens of the morning dew
Tis' the season of spring where bluebirds sing

Your scent fills my every breath
I shudder within, pondering your essence
For it reminds me of your truth of your presence

Fair maiden of spring where do I begin to measure your beauty while flowers dance
in a ring
that you may know you are blessed by heaven where angels sing

With a tender kiss of your warmth butterflies dance to their freedom you give
to remind them their reason to live

Your love drips a sticky flow within your petals as your nectar feeds life to hungry bees
As they shake the fragrant dust like fairies to ensure all is fed with the rhythm of the breeze

How I long awaited from the cold of the snow to see you again watching your love grow

I long for your smell and crave your taste yea I know you come not in haste but, in patience to not allow anything to go to waste

For when the spring rain showers its light
The heavens declare when the timing is right

For all who wait for the kingdom come as the prince of peace brings healing to the earth with a gentle embrace
perhaps we all shall meet our beloved face to face

Lighter than air

Evening lanterns,
Strung on the fishing line,
Glimpses of light
In my path.
Everything from before
Is not important anymore.
A web of good reasons
To leave ...

There is no salt
In my eyes,
There is no pepper
In my words.
No more pain
In my heart.
I close my eyes
And I fly away.
I absorb the freedom
Of my flight.
I open my eyes
And I see the seas;
Sea of wind,
Sea of color lines
Sea of spring..

Everything  achievable
Is not significant
Anymore.
Only something lighter than air,
Deeper than dreams,
Brighter than  stars
Makes sense to me

just breathe

In this situation
Where infatuation n auxiliaration
Intoxication of liberation
Wait wait
Yes wait be patient
As it all comes together
Like ya can predict the weather
But whether or not
It's rainy or hot
Depends
And it depends on
Dance dance n sing me this song
Am I write?
Am I wrong?
Could I be high on a bong like Cheech n Chong
Wiv da energy strong like King Kong
m**turbate the mind n mek da Spirit c*m
Cu c*m c*m
Squirt dat shizz out
Action!!!
Not a bag o mout
Trust in this journey as it turn churn n burn me there can be no doubt
So I don't do doubt
I do or I die
There is no try
I am

Socrates Said ..........

A seed was fertilised
For me to be born
Although there was passion
I believe it was torn
The youngest of four
Now on a plane
A new country perspective
And growth again
But alas I feel
My growth did stall
Trying to understand
Words and all
Not quite the same
As those around
Managed to survive
Upon playground
On the outer
But always looking in
It took a long time
To appreciate my grin
I stumbled and fell
Along the way
But that’s another story
And that was my day
Welcomed two boys
Into this life
Unsure of their destiny
Just guided them from strife
They were the lessons
I had to learn
So maturity was a fire
That did slowly burn
Weeks months and years
Passed along the way
A lonelier life
Than some I’d say
But I have been lucky
For choice has been mine
And freedom a life
That is very kind
So now as my energy
Slowly fades away
I can accept my journey
Every other day
Until I find the final end
Ever so near
I will still write
From the heart
And bless every tear ........

The Lladro test

About once every 5 years I chance upon Lladro porcelain figurines, most usually in a sojourn in a mall where they materialise on the hard-to-reach shelves of trendy gift stores. My first encounter would have been in my teens when I distinctly remember thinking these overpriced little ornaments from Valencia were not only kitsch but were only loved by grandmothers, certainly over 60, who had mildly lost their reason as to what is appealing. Not only that but I divined that if I ever felt any warmth for the little pieces I could duly assume I had suffered some excessive ravages of time and my claim to reason might be somewhat faltering.
Bottom line, appeal of Lladro I believe to be a test of time.
So with some surprise today I spotted an assortment of pieces that actually brought me some joy, Madonna with child, and a country girl inspired figure. For the first time I saw the tradition and romanticism behind the figures and took time to consider the shades of colour and dedication to detail to produce a work which
exudes a cultivated classic charm. Certainly more charm than I now hold for a Che Guevara t-shirt and mordant attitude to anything bearing authority. In 5 years time, who knows, I could be an ardent collector, at each sunrise and sunset the small silent drift to Lladro seems irrepressible :)

Alcohol Free

With joy multiplying
No way I am denying
This truth
Like the connection with da bluetooth
Beaming
Streaming
Infinitely beaming
And seeming
To be
Spiralling through to infinite possibility
Feeling the bless
Like YES
Superman S upon ma chest
Passing trials, tests n quests
Now I open up this treasure chest
POP!!
Out comes the sun
Burning soooooo brightly n the fun can't done
In fact it's only just begun
Feel this rhythm n melody like playin violin n drum
Dee dum
Dee dum dum dum
High on this Spirit it's a bit too early for da rum

The Canterbury Tales

When in April the sweet showers fall
And pierce the drought of March to the root, and all
The veins are bathed in liquor of such power
As brings about the engendering of the flower,
When also Zephyrus with his sweet breath
Exhales an air in every grove and heath
Upon the tender shoots, and the young sun
His half-course in the sign of the Ram has run,
And the small fowl are making melody
That sleep away the night with open eye
(So nature pricks them and their heart engages)
Then people long to go on pilgrimages
And palmers long to seek the stranger strands
Of far-off saints, hallowed in sundry lands,
And specially, from every shire's end
Of England, down to Canterbury they wend

Getting down with Pliny

Something for everyone here, some quotes from Pliny the Elder:

Hope is the pillar that holds up the world. Hope is the dream of a waking man.

Grief has limits, whereas apprehension has none. For we grieve only for what we know has happened, but we fear all that possibly may happen.

No mortal man, moreover is wise at all moments.

Such is the audacity of man, that he hath learned to counterfeit Nature, yea, and is so bold as to challenge her in her work.

Truth comes out in wine.

Hardly can it be judged whether it be better for mankind to believe that the gods have regard of us, or that they have none, considering that some men have no respect and reverence for the gods, and others so much that their superstition is a shame to them.

Home is where the heart is.

The only certainty is that nothing is certain.

An object in possession seldom retains the same charm that it had in pursuit.

There is always something new out of Africa.

The world and that which, by another name, men have thought good to call Heaven (under the compass of which all things are covered), we ought to believe, in all reason, to be a divine power, eternal, immense, without beginning, and never to perish.

ok

Just when ya thought it was safe but it’s not
This world lika shizpot
Throwing up bogie vomit n snot
In ya face
Like
Here
Come n have a taste
And now the anger n ego raced
When ya shoulda easy skanking
At a slow pace
Embrace
The lesson
And the journey
Far be it from me to tell anybody else how to be
I must be me
To flow free the way I see
If we come together that’s a pleasure with moments to treasure
Let not those moments be few n far between
I mean
Life too short
Some drink
Some snort
I’m about to press eject n abort
But still I’m caught
And captivated
Though most times feeling agitated
Seeing how long we’ve really waited
For this forcefilled energy to come to fruition
Now I see spirit guides curbing indecision
So much clearer is ma vision
Once again
Never a finger to point
The point
The whole point
And nothing but the point
Is you
Can you relate?
Can you demonstrate?
The will to embrace dat red pill
Aaaaaaaalllll the way iN
With teet skin
After all
That is The Most Highs will
But ya overthink
Wondering what happens beyond the brink
Ego always wants control
But why not it’s the cost of your soul
In restrospect must pay respect
Cos that higherself knows the plan which ya try but can’t seem to understand
And that’s the point
Stop trying to comprehend
At an energy that only bends
You’ll be there calculating without end
This journey
The journey
Taste face n embrace
Shine as bright as ya can always
Why?
Because it pays
What I put out comes back like karma
Don’t be a drama farmer
