The Man Who Wouldn't Take No

Here he comes, it's time to hide
He'll nag me once again
Have you talked to Jesus today
It's time you got to know him

I really don't care, I'd answer him
I'd appreciate if you quit it
This Jesus that you talk about
Doesn’t mean a thing to me

He'd only smile and start again
And tell me all these stories
Of miracles past and now
And how I need the healing

Thank you now but I'm quite fine
And I don't need your Jesus
So go away and leave me alone
And find another sucker

A meeting we have this Sunday night
You really need to be there
This guest has come from overseas
He spreads the word of God now

I'd had enough, I told him so
I'll come this once, once only
And when I’m done you'll leave alone
And all this talk of Jesus

Agreement made, I went along
The church was really packed inside
People singing, dancing and praising
Their worship appeared so joyful

The preacher man he came and spoke
About Jesus and salvation
Of how he died to give us life
And entrance into Heaven

Let all who need Jesus now
Come down for a blessing
Jesus wants to share His love
And assure your place in Heaven

My body rose by spirit hands
And guided down my footsteps
Peace and calm and lovingness
Followed the preacher's prayer

Jesus came into my heart
And changed my life forever
Blessed be my friend called Ron
Who wouldn’t take no for an answer

Victory Outreach Men & Women's Recovery Home Programs Part-1

1. If there too full please do not give-up-hope:
Victory Outreach Church Men's & Women's Recovery Programs are in all
50-United States.
Sometimes people have to pay a bus ticket to go from one state to another
to go into their Men & Women's Recovery Programs.

If Portland, Oregon is too full try anther state - no where in the bible
does it encourage giving-up. So Don't Give Up! Luke 18:1

2. Once you find the state that you want to live-in call them to see if there's more available space
for more men and women to go into their Recovery Homes, they will tell you the cost of the bus ticket
that will cost you, and they will have their people out there waiting for you to show-up to get off your bus
once you reach your desired destination.

1. These Recovery Homes aren't flop houses
so U can get up the next morning 2 go get
your next drug hit and come back
2 go back asleep again.
Recovery Homes are 4 people that desire real change
2 happen in their lives.

If U were raised in an 'Evil-Inn,'
if you're tired of that 'Disaster-Co-Student-Forecasted,'
about U, u can get rid of these Circus Lovers
that Love 2 clown around in-sin.

The Man On The Moon

As children we are told that the moon has a face on it,
With our childlike eyes we see a friend - the man on the
Moon. There he sits in the sky looking down on us,
With his friendly smile, loved by children everywhere.

There is a misconception that there really is an actual man
Up there, but there are others who say that he is made of
Green cheese, but we also find this hard to swallow. Yes, the
Moon is said to make people go mad by looking

At it too long, and lovers would not be romantic without
It. Even the witches are supposed to fly accross the
Face of the moon flying on their broomsticks during
Halloween. Yes, the moon has many sides to it: some

Good and some evil, but the prettiest sight is when
The moon is at it's fullest, showing that wonderful
Round face of the man on the moon smiling down at you.

teacup

---- IMAGE REMOVED because photobucket.com no longer allows embedded images ----Give me another bottle to drink
And give me another second to think
Its not like I have never been here before
Comparing myself to broken pieces on the floor
Analogies are words that I use to make my escape
But like rotting fruit they all whither and fall away
While encouragement just laughs in my face
Giving disappointment another chance to steal grace
But this time I will not just fold and give in
Accepting defeat is a good place for me to begin
Because even rotten fruit still gives birth to new life
To insects and the earth from the seeds hidden inside
Perseverance endures until the end
And broken pieces will mend
Like a teacup molded from clay
Once was ugly and is now displayed

Train

Embedded image from another site

Distant train
horn wailing
headlight shining
glinting off
steel rails
parallel lines
into infinity
iron horse
rumbling forward
through the city
past my house...

Dreamer

They shall not stray from my touch, clasping stars within my hands,my wings lie in my mind,....I am a deamer.
No one can pierce my heart with any arrow,I hold on when there is nothing in you,I think and make thoughts my aims,I trust myself when all is lost, all the things you gave, your life too, broken and stoop,I still hold on....I am a dreamer.
In strength I survive,in a broken world,with worn out tools I labour,I stand tall,I am not tired by waiting,....I am a dreamer.
I have courage I believe,so hold on to your dream cause....
We are all dreamers

~A Dream I Dream't~

It was mine I swear it was cause when I slept it was me an no body else. Where'd it go seem's it left for me in to find, it's not in the past it's just but state a mind. It's in jest hell no I say, it's some future of me if I'd get outta the way. A Dream that I Dream't all part of me in being. Yet it left me in blur of whats meant to be! Perhaps not the dream of inlaid mind scheme, a factor of reason or treason in self laden plight. Journey's all mine in doin wrong an right. Dreamin real!

APPRECIATE THE STRUGGLE

Appreciate the struggle, embrace the death
Thank the discourtesy of last breath
Blossoms and flowers killed for the wreath
Light can still quiver beneath.

Be grateful for the pandemic?
The flow of life, slow and anemic
Think of the highway to heaven's scenic
Just realistic, not a jaded cynic.

Take a walk to see?

So you take a walk in contemplation, then you see that flower, and wonder at Gods creation, and it opens your mind, and you find, wondrous beauty all around, it was just you were too busy to see, its all for you, its all for me, and open minds lead to treasure finds, its just like a,b,c, once you see,,, you are free.

I Like the Rain (an original poem from a book of Inspiration that I published in 2016)

It is written that the Lord sends the rain to fall on the ‘just’ and the ‘unjust’. But I like the rain, regardless.
I like the rain because
it cools the earth and makes the world seem clean
again; If
only for
a brief moment.
I like the rain because
It reminds me of the tears
that I shed when the pains of life
overwhelm me, and the joy of the Lord becomes my remedy. I like the rain because there is always a beautiful, brightly-coloured rainbow in its wake that lights up the sky,
and makes me smile with awe. I like the rain because It signals that whether I’m ‘just’ or ‘unjust’,
God still cares for me, provides for me,
loves me,
and needs me
to do His Will.
Thank God for the rain.
