---- IMAGE REMOVED because photobucket.com no longer allows embedded images ----Give me another bottle to drink And give me another second to think Its not like I have never been here before Comparing myself to broken pieces on the floor Analogies are words that I use to make my escape But like rotting fruit they all whither and fall away While encouragement just laughs in my face Giving disappointment another chance to steal grace But this time I will not just fold and give in Accepting defeat is a good place for me to begin Because even rotten fruit still gives birth to new life To insects and the earth from the seeds hidden inside Perseverance endures until the end And broken pieces will mend Like a teacup molded from clay Once was ugly and is now displayed
Very nice. Amazing what good can come from things others would discard, such as the rotten fruit.
