THE MUSE: EDELWEISS – Vol. I
*** Part III: Poetic Pillars – Monads: The Harp ***
[ XIX ]
*** Tides ***
“Tides
Of life
Come and go; –
All
Through slides,
Friend or foe,
- For
Each, guides,
Fast, or slow; –
*** Root ***
Tides
In strife,
Rhythm and flow; –
- Time
To grow,
Not take sides,
- High
Or low,
Fields in rife; –
*** Root ***
Tides,
- Thus, change,
Roll or row; –
Stretch
To wides,
So and so, –
In
A sketch,
Shores to plough – ”

*** The oak ***
“The oak
Stands
On guard; –
Watch
Close
Who is woke:
The leaf,
The trunk,
Or the crown; –
*** Root ***
The oak
Lands
To froze,
- Time
Seems
To have shard,
Stiff,
Shrunk,
Winds in soak; –
*** Root ***
The oak
Has
Deep roots; –
Rich
Streams
Fill this earth,
Grief,
Drunk,
Are world’s dreams – ”

*** Bright sun ***
“Bright sun!
- Said
The small child
Of the maid;
Chirp
Of birds,
Far
And mild,
Stirs this heart –
*** Root ***
Could you
Hear
The branch wild
Shake to twirp
Breath
Of spring?
Oh,
Bright sun!
Rays, thou sing; –
*** Root ***
Low clouds
In
The dew ring
New dawn,
- Cliup!!.. –
Bright sun!
In
A slurp
Of shy deer – ”

*** Young, young tree ***
“Young,
Young tree,
From
Deep roots,
Through
Stiff trunk,
Till
Thy crown,
Hear my plea –
*** Root ***
Young,
Young tree,
Thus
On spree,
Branch
Bows down,
While
A monk
Reaps old fruits; –
*** Root ***
Young,
Young tree,
Leaves
Bend shoots,
Throws
Seed [ : ‘s : ] sound,
- Wind
Breaks free,
All bless Thee!.. – ”

“Turn
To left
And touch
This
Fern,
- Feel the bliss,
There’s
Much
To learn –
*** Root ***
Turn
To right,
- For there,
A
Snail;
Slide with care, –
Through
Rocks,
It’s trail; –
*** Root ***
Back
And forth,
- In thoughts
Thy
Turn; -
To the fort
- New
Ants
Tie knots; – ”

*** Dust in wind ***
“On
This path
An
Old man
Walks
And talks
With
It’s cane
- In the wind; –
*** Root ***
World
- With wrath,
Judge
And plan,
- Break
Or take
Off
It’s joy,
Let him blind; –
*** Root ***
Once
A boy,
- Now,
Old man; –
Though
They’re mean,
- He
Is kind;
Dust in wind; – ”

*** Bliss and greet ***
“Come,
My love,
Come
To me; –
Hear
This drum,
Like
A bee,
Bud and hum; –
*** Root ***
Come,
My love,
Come
To me; –
Spring,
To some,
Chirps
Through plum,
Hear and see; –
*** Root ***
Come
To me,
- Sweet,
Young chum; –
Hand
In wheat,
- Come,
My love,
Bliss and greet; – ”

A moonlight hand beckons; invisible to the eye
Its wispy gnarled hand of mystic miasma stretches out to grasp
A leafy bough but but misses... the leaf swirls to the floor
As fairies dance amongst the collective gathering of the leaves
They parry and splash in the puddles, getting soaked, from
The incoming drops of rain that soldier down intending to break
Free from the oncoming onslaught of earthly tears that cause
Deverstation, humilitation and frustration to the occupants
Of the land, with foresight, Thor in his artful wisdom, brows raised watched as the heavens' opened, and Lightning strikes, venomously across the field, targeting the old oak tree
That the faeries love and bless magickally in honor of the the Deities, which have risen before thee, softly spoken in the hidden
Mysteries of Life and Death that have bowed to make ends meet
And to give answers to the questions that have arisen regardless
Of those that connect by the rhythmic beating heart of the Earth ??

*** Memoirs of a dove ***
“Rest
In peace,
Dear
Soul,
As once
You
Were
Near me,
With love; –
*** Root ***
Though
You cease
This
Life,
In next
Shall
Meet,
- To Thee,
This dove; –
*** Root ***
Take
A piece
Of
Me
With you,
- I
Keep
Thy tear,
My love – ”
