Gifts of Love

When I lay my head down to rest I lay next to you, when I wake up in a sweat because I had a bad dream you are sitting there comforting me, and when i am sad it’s your face and your love that gives me strength. These things that you give to me are things that will always keep you in my heart forever and these words that I speak are words whispered to me by every drop of blood that rushes through my veins because there passage of life is through my heart.

A memory just being born

Shafts of light spread slowly through the morn.

The misty complexion lingers like a faded memory.

The smell of roses and tulips fill the air, as the sun rises.

Then I saw her standing there, her dark brown hair held up against the sun, it made her eyes shone like diamonds.

I stood in a moment of happiness and I saw through the mist of time, this love I had lost and left behind.

As she walked, she smiled at me, though I know this was only fleetingly.

Her grace, her beauty, her lovely lips, her gorgeous smile and her fantastic kiss.

I remember these well, as she smiled through the misty morn, but it felt more like a thorn.

All I can say eternity its too long for me, I only wish to be with thee.

Alas she has another, a love more deep than mine, for hers it stands the test of time.

All this I felt that summer morn, it was more clear than a memory just being born.

What matter anyway

I never knew you, a stranger in
my life, spent years together living,
as bogus man and wife,

No union true, no honesty, twas
not the way, twas not to be,
twas not you nor twas not me,

A spirit changed, a mind not known,
cant be together, best left alone,

The life we had, twas not that bad,
love was lost, twas only sad,

Exist alone, just wait to die,
layed out on stone, and
there you lie.

No sweetness

No sweetness,
No sugar,
No honey,
No bunny,
No bonnie,
Nobody to love on me,
The world looks ugly,
All the colors drab and runny,
Can't remember the last time
anything was really funny,
The last time I truly laughed,
All of me here,
Missing my other half,
Wishing I could go back,
I close my eyes,
Remember a time,
When I was all hers,
And she was all mine....

dead love

In the graveyard
of empty promises
one of broken hearts
Hands touching midnight
The bell tolls
Soul wrenching
Touching darkness

Cold fingers of ice
In frozen tears
steel in coldness
touching skin
Cries in the deepest
depths of hell

Crawling nightmares confused
A cauldron
of boiling fear
Dripping with agony
In water
Dark madness

A blank page of nothing
Crawling searching
The lost souls
A cloud
in breathing
I exist

Strangling
gasping breath
Hurt squeezing out
Life of happiness
Floating
Dark dreams

An empty shell
Bones rattling
Crawling in the skin
The Devil's touch
Cold to the bone

Tainted cold poison
In becoming
The walking dead
I hide
in the shadows

Lost dreams
Following love
A restless soul
Love so cruel
Dead remains

Emotion ending
My end
a withered
black rose
The heart
Died

Among the Blue

I send you,
You send me,
I touch what you have touched,
I see what you have seen,
Your scent lingers in my mind,
As tangible as you are real,
As connected as we feel,
Over the miles and space,
That separate us,
And bring us together,
For in that space somewhere,
We meet swirling together,
Among the morning mist,
Of mountain valley spender,
My thoughts are yours,
Yours become mine,
As time stands still,
Dreams become real,
For a moment,
We are together,
Speaking without words,
Feeling without touching,
Seeing without vision,
My love manifested for you,
Shapes into a vision,
We are there together,
And linger for awhile,
Experience the gradual hue,
That shifts and fades,
Then pales beside the moment,
Of our union among the blue.

Not For You

Love, what is that
Is it worth dying for
What you feel within your heart
Well I don't have a heart anymore
There it lies, broken and bleeding
Lying dead on the floor
And the time has come to say
That I don't need you anymore

So build your walls
And I'll build mine
Then we'll see which one
Crumbles away with time
You have your reasons
And I have my beliefs
But now I see
That I'm not what you need

-:::::::::: In the Arms of Love ::::::::::::-

Into the stars we seek
hoping to find that other half of us
and bloom once more into the arms of another
as time seems to stop .

A fire in the eyes of lovers
reaching out the unknown
touching the warmth
of another

A heart that beats endlessly
entwined in one
with that someone special
to become.

Yet what is important is to value
oneself more than with the company of another,
while caring for the feelings of each other.

Still i say,
Love is worth all
while daring to share its power even more.

So let harmony fill your heart and hope no more,
Let destiny take its course that lights a flame of passion
when you least know.

A Dream

Is this a dream I live in?
Does my mind soar to the highest cloud
And in its incumbent state relish upon what could have been but is not?
I ask: has my past fashioned the present
Or has my present been the product of a life perturbed
That has left no room for hope or glory within its lot?
Questions - questions that remain unanswered
That leave no time for the present -
A present that lies embedded in the past, a status quo stagnant
In a pool of murky dreams and visions of a future
That lie not within the grasp of their creator
But align with the cruel hand of fate malignant.
Poor, poor heart. Do not fall for the ruse whereby the brain concocts
False images of grandeur and purity of love.
You stand alone. You must bear the brunt of all that assails you.
Shield yourself and let not the ramparts of your strength be shattered.
There is no room for parley. Aphrodite is amiss
And the wrath of the gods has been set loose. Now is the dream true?

I thought

I thought I lost my self but really all it was, was me finding my self.
