Sunday

Sunday comes and we meet
We kiss and hug
We say beautiful words to each other
The conversation always relates about the people we know.

As we get out of the trolley,
we either go to Lemon Grove or Old town
Sight seen or shopping is in our minds.

As we say goodbye,
we kiss and hug,
hoping to see each other again
the next following Sunday.

Heaven on Earth :")

Question me this earth or heaven I live
How wondrous life O I’m in love with thee
Name me all your wish and all I shall give
For you turn this world into heaven to me
A hundred roses are the red of your lips
What if our lips met like a sea touching shores?
The warmth of your breath the sway of your hips
Would I be punished with my arms wrapped in yours?
You’ve changed my world with the blink of an eye
Your love surrounds me in a rapturous awe
There is something that I cannot deny
With you my love I won’t search anymore
First glance I realized you’re such a goddess
Sent from above to fulfill my emptiness

About this poem:
My sonnet heehee ^_^ Just wanna keep it on my profile... This sonnet ^_^ I wrote it as if I were a man ^____^ I don't know what men like most in women. When a man falls in love with a woman, what would he do? What kind of poem that he would write for her... I finally realized that being a man isn't easy... lol But if I were a man, I would ask 'thesunandthesea' out to date!!! lolol

A Lavender Sky

Casting light on shortest day my sunrise
Creeping over the top of distant hills
Marvel glowing bands of lavender skies
Quiets the lonesome night and bitter chills

Slowly, drifting, swirling clouds that appear
Their dark, bulging centers bearing more snow
Soft snowflakes fall tumbling down and adhere
Covering and hiding features below

Tell me where the soft gurgling brook went
Its sounds cannot be heard in the valley
Just the hush of dampening snows’ descent
Such long weeks before winter’s finale

Casting eyes upon the first morning light
Lavender skies….such a beautiful sight

Darkened

---- IMAGE REMOVED because photobucket.com no longer allows embedded images ----

Toys scattered over the play ground, lost
Taunts cries lingering as if in a stance
All gone, but one left with darkened feelings
Holding onto life's gift of second chance

Searching deeply for strength to continue
Gathering power to hold close to thee
No need for mirrors every step engraved
No one knows me better than I know me

Releasing visions of what I would like
Freeing destiny to be as it should
Paining myself by allowing it so
Letting go of what one knows is not good

Torn but still completely whole my soul bare
Some weights in life one must carry not share

enclave

i came upon an enclave of souls, of people
where many were standing and sitting around
a collection of artists under a digital steeple
more interesting people could not be found

so many gathered here, looking for what not
other like minds, a partner, other friends
offering words, ideas, emotions, and thought
building bonds that friendship transcends

there are teachers and students, and clerks,
an Earl, an editor, an expat, a cleric,
the wizened, the quiet, some social works,
a poet in pink, more professions esoteric

they share and encourage each other to grow
and mean more to each, than any might know

Byegone London.

It was a time when local dialects rang,
to the dulcet sounds of 'cockney' slang,
conversely then, cinemas spoke not a word,
yet, a time, when its softer voice was heard,
Oxford Street, Oh! there in windows fine,
one saw manaquins, displaying exquisite crinoline
and in the self-same place exhibiting thus,
Top Hat and Tails in Haut Couture ubiquitus,
and such, on open carriages velours rare,
doyens seated, amidst the solitude of care,
neither speach nor thought they need apply,
such their quietude, nursed stars on high,

One moment brief they ensconced would be,
immune, from Hades World and its insanity.

About this poem:
A sonnet on construction, highlighting how we all too often? wax lyrical about bygone days, yet in general, it was far from the truth, hopefully, the closing couplet focuses the condradiction to the previous twelve lines.

If I Could Question Love.

Such joyous Love, why do you make me weep ?
This heart so warm, yet aches without relent,
My mind so tired, still you deprive my sleep,
Each waking hour consumed with sweet torment.
Why do I fall so heavy for your charms ?
Besotted by the lure of womanhood,
And when I'm wrapped in calming female arms,
Why do you raise wild torrents in my blood ?
So many hearts you break with utter grief,
Oh Love, why must we toil to be your slave ?
How can you be so fickle and so brief ?
And yet for some, endure beyond the grave.
The answers lie within Love's tangled mire,
Strewn amidst the agony and the fire

both sides

I look at life from both sides now ...
And still I'm eluded by you somehow....
I picture your smile and the laughs we shared.....
The devotion i Gave when you never cared...

I look at life from both sides now....
The times that i held you and still somehow...
I struggle with doubt if our bond was real ....
The lust and passion and How i would feel...

I look a life from both sides now...
I believed that you loved me and still somehow....
This hole in my heart is hard to repair ....
Most days i feel empty cause you not there....

xmas where are you

Is it that time of year
With lots of cheer
We wish you a merry xmas
The cries ring out

Music plays we wish a merry xmas
I dont feel happy i feel sad
Gone is santa his present un opened
Lies where it was a decade ago
How the spirit broken the fun laughter gone
Should i laugh should i cry
My heart lays broken
Time flown
Decades gone
Where has xmas gone

Sonnet

Sitting here in the dark no reasoning

Watching as the world starts to awake

I'm always on the outside looking in

Not knowing which road for sure I will take

Cold wind upon my face sun heating me

Heart filled to the brim so full that it hurts

Passing miles through the ages, tides to sea

Seasons are a coming searching for me

Longing for the arms I am seeking for

No ties that bound me hold me back from you

I am like the calling of the echo

Surrounding finding you want have a clue

So much love to give to keep not for mine

Love to stay with you but not for this time
