But having said that, politics is a very dirty business. They make the world a bowl of ego and greed.
Personally it's not right for any country to do what China is doing, but testing the waters if none of the rest of the super power will question then act as though they're of liberty to do it. And just might get away with it. Technically it is not right, if the rest of the nations or countries of the world would let them, I think we're in for a global conflict. But that's the reason why the US is truly concerned. .
I hope you're not suggesting that Philippines by itself is gearing towards Z battle with China. That would be preposterous if you ask me. First of all the Philippines is in no way possible to start a conflict due to I'll equipped military system. Second, there's no threat other than encroachment to the territory which is not completely governed by the Philippines. People who live there are transient fishermen.
Unless the US will be interested to back the Philippines then there's just no way that it will aggravate the situation. I do know US is interested or explain why it's surveillance is consistently active per the video posted.
